Ahh man its Monday again?

I've been so proud of DS lately. For a bit of background, DS is 20 months. He was very delayed in major motor skills - he never learned to crawl, and was the very last baby from my A15 BMB to finally walk even though he was one of the earlier births from the board (actually born in July). However, where he lacks in motor skills, he is greatly making up for in language skills.

At 20 months he can recognize all letters of the alphabet, both upper and lowercase, as well as recite the full alphabet from memory. He also knows numbers 0-9 and can mostly count to 20. He can speak in 2-3 word sentences and knows the words for most of the things he interacts with on a daily basis. He can even recognize some planets since we have some books on space and decals of the planets in his nursery.

Yesterday he surprised us even more. DH likes to listen to video game music (think bubbly, 8-bit style remixes of old games). He'll play them for DS quite often for soothing or play. Well, DS can now hear some songs and within a few seconds tell you if it is a song from Kirby or Pokemon. Sometimes faster than DH or I can recognize them. This little guy is soaking things in like a sponge! So curious to see where he goes from here.

I thiiiink I may have felt a few kicks just now. It was this light thumping, rather than fluttering. I'm 15 weeks, so I think that could be it.

It is now day 8 after my MaterniT21 blood test and I still haven't gotten a call from the genetic counselor with my results! Ugh, I hate waiting!

That's a cell free DNA, right? My MFM said the results usually take up to 2 weeks 😮

I'm waiting on the authorization to go through and then I'm going to have to wait more ::grumble grumble::

I am in a marginally bad mood. I've cooled off from earlier, but basically another department fucked up yet again and made it my problem/issue. Their supervisor came over to my desk and told me I'm doing my job wrong. Fuck you, bitch, it hasn't been a problem for three years, the only difference is YOUR employees aren't doing THEIR part of the process.

My office is moving this summer. They're opening like a fresh-market type thing in the new one so we have easy, healthy options right in the building.

HR sent out a survey last week, 'what would you like offered?' type thing (omfg it made me drool). WELL, this Thursday, I was asked to Take part in a TASTE TESTING for all of the new food.

They told me 7-10 days, so naturally once day 7 arrives i'm impatient and irrational. Because it's not like there are thousands of other tests they have to process or anything.

On Friday they said my finger stick results take 7 days. My plan is to call on Wednesday. #nopressure

kj808 I waited 7 days after my bloodwork testing stuff and then was told it'd be another week and they'd call me. I waited till day 10 and called again. Lady was like "oh, we have a note to call you this week. Your results are in." Is there someone you could check with about them?

Long day - state testing has started here for students which impacts both dh and I'd classes. I've had meetings each night this week too and feel like I haven't seen DD either. All day MS is still kicking my butt (14.5 weeks?!?!) so I'm just a grumpy, exhausted mess here and ready for summer.

I confirmed feeling my little man move yesterday. I was unsure for a few days but I'm definitely feeling him. He moved a lot yesterday. Since I'm away from home and super homesick, I convinced myself he was trying to make momma feel better.
