I'm going to do a target run today but I need to shower and get ready to go out. This getting out of the house with a baby thing isn't easy.
Target is my happy place to venture with babies. Have fun!
I need to return two car seat bases since they are the wrong model and I was thinking of returning a box of newborn diapers while I'm at it. I need to get all of the 1s down from the closet.

For clothing stains, both poop and formula, I actually keep a bucket of cool water and powder oxyclean in my basement. Throughout the week anything stained goes in the bucket of water and it just soaks until I run a load of laundry. It doesn't hurt the clothes to stay in there for days at a time and everything comes out stain free.

I'm realllly bored at work. I've done nothing much this week due to IT issues. I should work on my resume. Instead I'm researching photographers in my area. I'd like to do our first family foto this June (when baby would be 6 mo). It would also coincide with his baptism so maybe I should just hire a photographer for that....
They don't swaddle babies at daycare right? Or will they if I ask? Cuz I have no idea how you get babies to nap without swaddles.
*digs fan out of attic*
No advice because R only liked the swaddle for maybe a week, but she was still a shit sleeper. Are you having trouble getting them to fall asleep, stay asleep, or both?

They won't even attempt to fall asleep. I stripped them down to their diapers and swaddles them and they were asleep instantly. But I'm still worried it's too hot for that even with a fan. DH will be installing a ceiling fan in their room asap.

What's the temperature? Honestly, though, they're probably fine.

mustloveerica, I haven't seen any babies swaddled in the DC's I've had. And the rooms are kept rather warm too. Are you getting ready to go back to work soon?

I have 6 more weeks left. But I do want to start working on having them nap with no swaddle. Maybe they're too young? They still startle all the time.

You should ask your DCP if they swaddle. That way too know if it's really something you need to work toward our if you can wait until they're more ready.
All 4 of us went to the library for toddler story time this morning. I stayed out in the kid area because the toddler is less jealous when she's one on one with a parent. But then they had an overflow infant story time in the kid area and I looked like some kind of overachiever whole brings a newborn to story time :-)

Have you returned diapers to Target before? Like PP's have said, I've heard they're pretty cooperative about this but haven't tried it myself yet. I'm curious to know how it goes.
I have not but I will let you know if I ever get there lol. Getting out of the house is tough when I'm trying to keep her on a schedule.
