I was able to exchange 3 packs of diapers at Walmart for a bigger size no questions asked.
And I called our local women's shelter and I'll be taking 2 open packs of newborn and 2 unopened packs of preemies there this weekend. Thank you to those that suggested that. Definitely good to know I can donate opened packs somewhere.
All 4 of us went to the library for toddler story time this morning. I stayed out in the kid area because the toddler is less jealous when she's one on one with a parent. But then they had an overflow infant story time in the kid area and I looked like some kind of overachiever whole brings a newborn to story time :-)
We've been to infant story time. I believe it's more for the parents to get out of the house than for the kids lol.
DH invited some friends over to see the girls tonight. I should really do some cleaning...but I don't want to.
Don't do it. If they care what your house looks like fuck them. As long as it's not actually dirty, clutter and lived in is 100% acceptable.
I mopped the muddy dog footprints out of the kitchen and threw the mountain of laundry I'm avoiding folding into the dining room. I dub this house clean enough for company.

I'm going to the break room to see if there is any more strawberries and cream bundt cake. It was so tasty and moist. I looked up the bakery and bookmarked it for Alex's baptism party.

I remember talking about it briefly on the pregnancy board. But does anyone use one of the silicone milk collectors/"breast pumps" ?? If so what brand?

They don't swaddle babies at daycare right? Or will they if I ask? Cuz I have no idea how you get babies to nap without swaddles.
*digs fan out of attic*
Our daycare isn't allowed to use swaddles or anything similar. FS2 slept in a swaddle at home until probably 4-5 months old, and it seems like FS3 will probably do the same.
So.... they just didn't really sleep well at daycare. Eventually FS2 got better at napping there, especially after he could roll onto his tummy consistently because he turned out to definitely be a tummy sleeper. But for those first few months, he just took cat naps in the teacher's arms or very brief naps in his crib.

The bundt cake was gone. Which is for the best. There's still some donuts left. Trying to stay away. I had a good brisk 20 min walk today don't want to undo that.

They're so simple that I can't imagine there is that much variation in how well they work. I just went with one that had good reviews on Amazon. I've used it twice since my milk came it and pretty effortlessly gets one ounce first thing in the morning. But to be honest I might switch to just pumping on one side with a manual or electric during that feed because I'm not committed enough to have the silicone collector clean and nearby enough to use it multiple times a day.

My poor DSW/housekeeper lady. She got here like 15 minutes early and immediately goes to the bathroom. Apparently the house she was at before the lady wouldn't let her use her toilet! Anyways, she was here and gone because she got super sick. Hopefully she'll be better soon. Ridley freaking loves her she was so excited to see her today.

I pump at work. And just realized I've been off a day when labeling the bags. oops
I did that last week with the bottles I pumped during the day. Labeled one day wrong, then a second day wrong because I went off the dates already in the fridge from the prior day.

I was glad to have it when N was tiny, she had a really hard time latching my left side if it was too full. I'd use this on that side while she nursed.
Caveats: they tip over easily and the lid doesn't stay on well. Definitely don't try to pick it up by the lid. Also can be hard to clean because of the shape.
I'm so happy! I asked R to give me a kiss AND SHE ACTUALLY KISSED ME!!! Of course then she was just shoving her open mouth on my face and giggling for the next few minutes. But she kissed me when I asked for a kiss! Usually she turns away when you try to kiss her.

I cannot stop kissing my child. I'm hoping she learns kisses soon. I know she's just hungry when she comes at my lips with her open mouth lol
She's up for the day at 4:30a again. Boo. Anyone else around?
Felicia Saz good to see you. well, vitro fertilization is a costly process. In vitro fertilization, long duration is required to find your best match. Most of the clinics keep it in their preliminary responsibilities. In ivf egg is combined with sperm outside of the body. Then this mixture is injected into the surrogate woman. chances still exist to inject the intended woman with this. If the embryo doesn’t grow well then doctors have to switch. Success rate depends on the clinic familiarity. How well educated and well-trained staff is there? How do their laboratories look like? According to the average rate of nationwide, it cost about $12,000 before medication. If you have taken insurance policy, they might be there are some discounts for you. after medication, it typically runs about $30,000. Now you are a bit familiar with the process and its cost.
