I think currently there are 3 fleece type blankets in his crib but he only lays under one bit insists the others belong there. No pillow yet simply because I didn't know what to get.
Sooo, last night I forgot to switch the sides until she was in bed again, due to a lot of activity when I got home. So there was still much tossing and turning at bedtime. I have to try to do it this morning.
The child demanded her sack after laying in her crib, and then once it was on (and I was like way to confuse and make a liar out of me kid) immediately undid the snaps and demanded I take it off.
I also saw on the monitor that she is capable of putting her blanket back on herself now?
I'm sure once I figure out whatever this phase is, we'll be on to the next.

Here he is in his crib last night. Don't worry, the pacifier clip isn't normally on him, yesterday he had a meltdown an hour earlier than normal for bed and I didn't have a chance to unclip it because he was so hysterical and over tired.
I think a pillow and blanket are fine at this age. Whenever I give DS a blanket it usually ends up in a corner or on the floor. Over winter I used a heater in his room because it's colder in there. I stopped using it now that it's not going under 50 degrees at night.

Max has a memory foam mattress, a thin quilt that he sleeps on(I rock him with the quilt under him so he's not startled by the cold bed when I put him down), a crib comforter, a full size pillow(he sleeps in our bed for naps and loves our pillows), his lovey, a stuffed moose and a stuffed curious George. He has a lot of shit, but he sleeps fairly well in his crib now. Sleep sacks don't work for us because he hates having his legs restricted.

@feegan, DS sleeps like that a lot too, but he moves around quite a bit as well.
He's still in a sleep sack, an XL. We usually lay a muslin blanket on him when he put him down but it doesn't stay on long because it takes him a bit to get comfortable. He MUST have his two A&A lovies (one was backup but once he figured out there were two, he must have them both) during story time and singing. There is also two stuffed bears in his crib that we usually find him cuddling along, with his lovies. When we go to bed we put his A&A dream blanket over him.
