LAST CONFERENCE OF THE SPRING THANK GOD!
I'm going to be away from my computer all weekend (DH needs a faster laptop for some projects he's working on) so expect radio silence from me. I'll try to pop in at least once.

I reached out to some high school friends that we like to have over a few times a year to catch up this week to see if anyone was available in the next few weeks to hang out. It turned into everyone *possibly* coming over tomorrow (lots of non-commits on time, but say they will still come). My mom, who is my nanny, is helping clean the house today because she is a saint and DS loves to watch her vacuum.
I'm hoping most of them make it because I do like being able to tell people we're expecting in person rather than having them see it on FB or via text. Though at this point, when they see me they'll probably all jump to the conclusion immediately since I'm showing so soon. My neighbor asked me if I was pregnant as I was coming home from a walk with DS yesterday.
Good morning guys! I'm feeling awesome today but am running low on ideas of what to do with it. Its supposed to be 90 here today (and was already 80 at 9 am) so I think being in my garden is a big fat no thank you. Maybe I'll just go to target and wander around all day

arimaythea , DS likes to "help" us vacuum, too. He has one of those little musical push toys and that's his 'vacuum'. He is fascinated with vacuums..... Also, I'm jealous that your mom is your nanny. If my mom lived closer she'd likely help us out a lot and she always cleans when she does come over (so, also a saint). I really wish she'd retire and move here.
Speaking of cleaning, our house hasn't been receiving much TLC lately and we finally have a free weekend, so we must clean. Like, really clean. I'm looking forward to Sunday night when everything looks good again, but cleaning is about the last thing I want to do with my weekend. Can someone come adult for me? Or give me a raise so we can afford a housekeeper?

CoachTsWife, haha cute! We got DS a toddler Dirt Devil on Amazon. It has a button to make vacuum sounds, so he loves to press the button and walk around pretending he is vacuuming too.
We live about 10 minutes away from my parents, and in the house directly next door to my in-laws, so my mom watches DS most days and DH's parents watch him when she can't. I'm so happy we were able to do this. My mom cut back her hours at her job to watch DS (she works a few hours really early in the morning before coming over here to watch DS) and we pay her to help make up for cutting back her hours.
Hilarious, my toddler loves vacuums too. He will ask to watch vacuum review videos on YouTube. 🙄
Tldr; I am burnt out. My kid (and I) slept horribly last night. He is a shrieking mess today. H goes out of town tomorrow morning until Sunday night and he works all next week and weekend. And he has three more trips coming up next month. I could cry thinking about it, but I know I will feel so much better after a nap. And my mom is visiting in a few weeks and she will spoil me and DS, so I have that to look forward to. 🙏🏻

That's awesome arimaythea! We live about 15 minutes from my ILs and they are able to pop over quickly when we need help but they both still work full time. MIL is counting down the years until she can retire and help out more. I'm excited for that time, but I do wish it was my mom instead of MIL. She's really great with DS, but it isn't quite the same as when Mom comes over.
Just found out we're team BLUE!! So crazy excited and still in shock He has quite possibly the longest legs ever. I'm on mobile but will post a pic in the US thread whenever I get to a comp
I'm right there with you. We just took away DSs pacifier, so sleep is extra crappy and DH works a lot, plus class 2 nights a week/all day Saturday. Solo parenting is hard.

Cythe, my belly got super itchy late in pregnancy with DS. I used the Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter last time and liked that. I got a free Shea Butter Body Cream from SeneGence, which I've used on my hands at night but I'm going to try that for my belly this time - likely similar to the Burt's Bees as that's also shea butter based.
I ate way too much onion dip/wavy Lays and cinnamon raisin toast for dinner. So random. Do not care. The toddler ate 80% of a box of bunny mac, the rest ended up on the floor. He then asked, "Any more macamonis, mommy?" He is snacking on a Lunchable. We are the healthiest tonight. 🙈

bubblefan, I had my first true pregnancy craving this week and it was onion dip. As soon as I got off work on Wednesday I went out and bought what I needed to make it. The past three days I have eaten way more dip and wavy Lays than I should have haha.

I neeeded it today! I never ever eat it so it was very random!

Humidifier?
We had the humidifier in his room. Didn't really help. We'll do it again tonight. We literally just got rid of a cold like a week ago and it's back. Starting to think it might be allergies.
