Fallout Boys, like eight years ago. I used to go to concerts all the time, and now I have no enthusiasm for them. The Fallout Boys were just awful live though. Their opening acts were infinitely more fun.
I guess I've gone to some symphonies since then but those have been a while too.
It has been way too long since I've been to a concert. Does going to see a live score performance for Star Trek: Into Darkness count? I think that was two summers ago while I was pregnant? Or it's a toss up between Green Day during their American Idiot tour or Dar Williams, can't remember which was more recent.
J tried to get me to go to a concert for some band a couple of months ago and it wasn't anyone I cared about and I didn't want to blow my load on a concert that I was Meh about. If I'm paying for a babysitter and going out, I want it to be something I'll enjoy!
We're going to see a Hans Zimmer show in the summer, he's a film music composer who did Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lion King and The Dark Knight and tons of other movies. J is a big film music geek and it should be a cool show. And I think we're also going to go to a live score performance for one of the Harry Potter movies near my birthday.
