I need H to mow our lawn soon. Grass is green and long now! I hate yard work and our needs alot of work since we only moved in during winter. First time we've had a backyard so big. Will be interesting to divide up outdoor chores, I really even hate having to water plants outside.
Has anyone dealt with seasonal allergies in a toddler? Poor dd1 has been miserable for the last couple of weeks. At first we thought it was a cold and Google tells me she's too young (21 months) for seasonal allergies, but she has had a runny nose (although slightly off and on) and been complaining about her eyes bothering her. H and I agree it's not a cold - I've never had allergies but H has and my gut tells me that's what it is (plus the timing lines up exactly with sprig arriving). I'm going to call the Dr but just wondering if anything in particular has helped anyone else's toddler.
Feeding C. Hoping he goes back down after but it'll be a little after 6 when we're done, and he's usually up at 7/7:30. Hoping for at least a little more sleep!
No real plans today. H has to work all day, so I'm probably just bumming around the house. I do need to do some cleaning though.

DD ended up waking up at 12:30 and 5. Luckily she went back down fairly easy. DS is up now and mad it me because I won't let him have all of his root beer from dinner with his breakfast. Notice I said all which would imply I've given him some already.
The Zoloft is making me sleepy. I took it in the afternoon on Thursday and that made the evening a struggle so I thought bedtime would be a good time but I'm still drowsy. I'll probably stick with taking it at bedtime though.
Crib success - he was in there for 2.5hrs with 2 wake ups and then the rnp for 1.5hr. I hope this means I am slowly able to get him to stay in his crib more.
There's something about a quiet and still house @michaela20
kaits8 our pedi has told us under 3 is too young for seasonal allergies, but my nephew was an anomaly and had them terribly at 2.5. It sounds like your DD is experiencing the same thing.
ladytiffany24 exciting! That's definitely one for the baby book 😋
erinshelley21 hope it's only an adjustment period for the drowsiness from the Zoloft!
Rough night last night, but I was due for one. I decided to do laundry at 10 so I didn't fall asleep until 11 and L was up a lot. I'll need all the caffeine today -- I'm going to pack DD 1 and DS for our trip to FL on Tuesday!
I know I'll enjoy it when we are there, but preparing for vacation is not fun!

Where are you going in Florida?! Flying or driving?
We're heading down there (driving) the middle of May to hit up Disney world. So I feel you about the preparing stuff. It's already stressing me out!

. I'm hoping in a week or so I'm not so sleepy from it. My body is so sensitive to medicine that can make you drowsy. One Benadryl had me so tired a couple weeks ago I barely remember getting up and feeding DD.

I just found out we are eligible to upgrade our cell phones. Thank Jesus. DH's phone gets about half the messages I send and my voicemail keeps shutting off.
Has anyone gone from an iPhone to android? Im feeling like I want the change but also scared. iPhones are just easy but I'm terrible about backing it up so I feel like a SIM card would be good for me.

@justinslovo definitely a thing and he will discover it and play with earlier than you expect him too. And then when he is old enough to talk he can say things like "it's big, it's really really big!"
So here's a question which involves a TMI for Jack.
Any boy babies have crazy morning wood? Is this a thing? I am scared to google.
I am having to wait a minute or two until it goes down so I can sneak it into the correct position to close his diaper. I guess I am not skilled enough to point it down and close the diaper fast enough before it pops back up.
Any thoughts?! Lol.
Totally a thing. DS had one all the time, we would just hold it down and sneak the diaper on then slid our finger out the leg hole.

@justinslovo baby peen is so weird! Max also gets morning wood. In a disposable I close one side and sneak a finger in the other side to make sure it's down. Cloth, (prefolds, jelly roll,) I get the diaper in place and very gently go down from the top before securing.
Definitely a thing @justinslovo. It happens here after naps sometimes and while DS is getting changed, he will point and say, "penis!" And won't stop saying it unless we acknowledge him. Yes, DS, you have a penis.
I got 3.5 hours of sleep last night and DS2 is currently wide awake grunting in my arms and DS1 is playing with flashcards in my lap and occasionally hitting me in the face with them. Saturday, please get better.

The best is when they start asking if you or daddy have a penis.
