I threw my crying baby in her carrier and walked to the downtown area of our town. Baby fell asleep and now I'm enjoying a beer in the backyard with her sleeps soundly on my chest while I wait for our family/friends to arrive for a cook-out. Right this second, everything is perfect.
seadragon2013 YUM! Chuy's is a fave of mine. My toddler loves dunking chips in salsa and it keeps him occupied forever, so it is a go-to restaurant for us.
. Ugh. Sorry. H used to be a cop, so when that happened when DS1 was a newborn, he got out of a ticket.

We've had kind of a bummer day. We met with the owners of my grandma's house to talk numbers since they were wanting to sell. They want $5000 more than what we are approved for and it looks like they won't budge. They seek to think they can get 15k beyond what their bottom number is but I think they are out of their minds. So now we wait and see if it gets sold through a realtor and maybe buy it after it's sat on the market for a while or find a plan b
I fell asleep in the car.... Apparently H was going 81 in a 65. I woke up and a cop pulled a u turn behind us. H was honest and said he was tired from lack of sleep with a newborn, but all that did was get us a few extra minutes to try to find our insurance card so we wouldn't have to come back up here for court.
Fun times.
I legit have the secret for getting out of tickets. I've been pulled over a good 7 times in the last 2 years.
Don't talk about yourself. Ask about them. The only time I got a ticket, I was crying.
Think: "hey! This Saturday is gorge! Are up u going to be able to enjoy some of it?"
I just walked into a gas station, with the babe, and bought a Red Bull. The guy behind the counter asked me if that Red Bull was for me, and then proceeded to tell me I need to eat and drink healthy so I can feed my baby. Also- it wasn't even that clear bc he didn't speak great English.
Wtf?!
Once at the Starbucks in Target the barista asked if I was nursing because I order a latte and wanted to know if I needed decaf.
Not your business and she's fine! Ugh! Mind your own business!
DH has only been gone for a few hours and E peed on the couch. I cried. Then she cried. and told me to get paper towels to clean it up. Then M screamed while I tried to clean it with said paper towels. Also I think the preschool "friend" who was supposed to get us dinner last night and forgot then moved it to tonight forgot again. This stinks. I want wine and sleep but I need to go get my mom at the airport in a few hours. Thank goodness she's coming or I might not have stopped crying. I felt bad immediately for giving DD a hard time about her accident though bc she was so earnest that we could just get "pa-pa tow-tows" and "clean it up"
H is on baby duty for awhile while I take a bath. (!!) I think he felt a little bad for his passive aggressive comment yesterday. (Though he made sure the monitor was on upstairs, so I can still hear C fussing a little.) But whatever - I'm gong to lay here in the warm water for as long as possible.
I also had a beer this afternoon. It's been a pretty decent Sunday.
L just took his first bottle of breastmilk! YAS! H is officially on MOTN duty *dances* and maybe H and I can have a date night now and I won't have to worry about him being hungry while I'm out! Hot cha cha!
