I walked around lowes with H while my mom watched M. Apparently this is our Saturday tradition now. We got a mini fridge for upstairs, I'm so excited to be able to pump and store milk!!!
I was going to suggest that! our bedroom is on the main floor so we didn't need one, but if I was pumping upstairs I'd have invested in one!
Yeah I had a mini fridge in my room growing up because I refused to go downstairs to eat. My mom thought if the food was in my room I would eat. H took that one to work and broke it or just told me that it was broken so it would stay at work. So we bought a new one today so I can move most everything upstairs. I really do like being downstairs in the guest room with the rocker/glider but it will be more convenient to have it upstairs. I will set up my other pump downstairs so I can have a pumping station on each floor.
I asked Blake to clean up the toys in the living room so R would play and he couldn't figure out why it mattered. Let's just ignore the million times I've complained about having to clean up her toys a hundred times a day because she refuses to play if the floor is cluttered. Apparently it never clicked that I did it so she would play, not because I wanted to pick them up all the time. 🙄 I'm questioning how he manages to hold down a job with his poor listening skills.

R fell asleep cuddling with H at 7:15!!! Usually she doesn't go to bed until closer to 8:30, and she usually has to nurse to sleep. 😕 I miss my baby needing me.

Hi all. I was mia yesterday because B was a hot mess all day. Completely unlike him. Wanted to be held and would cry when we put him down in his crib. Last night was more of the same. I'm exhausted.
Oh, and the toddler was also toddlering yesterday so that didn't help.

Good morning. I got to go out for wine and tapas last night with a fellow twin mom. After parenting solo all day and after putting babies to bed. It was fun, and I'm sofaking tired. I guess I'll just be tired for the next 18 years. Haha

Does anyone out there work full time M-F and have a partner who works a non-traditional schedule? I really need some advice on how to not be filled with resentment when I parent by myself every other weekend, and half the month I do nights by myself.
Basically it makes me hate my husband and I go back to work on Mondays utterly exhausted.
C was a super noisy sleeper after I put him back down around 5. I've basically been awake since then. Boo.
I posted this on my bump board already, but curious what you ladies think. C hasn't pooped since Thursday. He's almost 7 weeks old. Combo fed - roughly 50/50 bm and formula. Prior to Thursday, he was a 1-2 (usually 1) time a day pooper for the most part. He doesn't seem uncomfortable, and had continued to be a pretty happy baby for the most part. At what point should I call the doc and/or do something other than waiting it out?Thoughts/suggestions?
Good morning mommas! Popping over here to see if you guys have any suggestions for items to go into a 3rd tri/birthday gift basket for my girlfriend. I have a maternity dress (NWT) that I'm going to give her, and I was thinking of adding some RRLT, belly butter, and Tums. What else should I throw in??

I hoping for only a few years of sleep deprivation. I am a great sleeper so I'm hoping M is too.

LT is for hugs. MH and I are opposite of your situation but he hasn't helped me one ounce since she has been born so...

Thanks, lady. I feel like such a broken record. Glad I can get things off my chest here.

Hmmmm snacks?
Sparkly turned me on to these type of shirts for nursing:
There are many different brands out there that I've purchased but I basically live in these things over a nursing tank.
