We had another rough night. L slept okay, but with our trip to FL being tomorrow, I had the worst time trying to sleep. H works until midnight tonight. Our flight leaves at 6:30, so we are leaving the house around 4:15. Have I mentioned the fact that I packed four of us yesterday, including the kids book bags with food and activities, and H has yet to pack at all?! Ugh he stresses me out sometimes!
Had my pp appointment today and it was a little disheartening. Turns out the doc who delivered was being understated in saying my tear was 2nd degree. My doc said it was probably closer to third and it's still not healed. She touched it with a qtip and I just about jumped off the table. She said it's still in the range of normal for a more serious test but it sucks. Plus I haven't lost weight in two weeks and still 20lb above starting weight which is 30lb above ttc weight. This is not helping my mood. Sorry for the downer post 😔

Work is done for the most part and DD slept in the carrier the entire time! She didn't eat while there so my boobs and her were ready. I'm also starving but that will have to wait.
amacbaby, I'm with the other. Give yourself time. I sadly already know that the whole thing about losing weight due to bfing is just not me. I hold onto extra pounds until I'm done breastfeeding. Grrrr!
HI!!! Quick update before I go back to potty training crazy of twins. I switched schedules at work, so I had to go through full day training from Wed - Fri. DH had to take those days off and be with the kids. I will say that my trainer was amazing with me stepping out three times a day to bf the little one.
My older girls are off in a different time zone visiting their bio-dad. Alexandria decided that she was all about cloth panties and potty training as she developed another painful rash from diapers I am not at all opposed to this. It's going to be crazy, but at least it will be done. And little tiny is gaining weight like crazy. I can't believe we're a week away from three months old already! I'm a bit grumpy with him because he normally eats and goes back down throughout the night with an issue with the snuggle nest.. last night, nope.. from 2am on, he was fussy and fidgetty..
I'm with the give me all the coffee idea. ><
I will try to come back today! I miss you guys! I love my family, but ugh.. there is no stop of the insanity!

amacbaby I'm sorry your tear was more serious than they said - that's tough. Hopefully a few more weeks and it will be healed.
There are a lot of studies out there that show that interrupted sleep is connected with weight gain. So if you're not sleeping well, a weight plateau is pretty good considering. So don't beat yourself up - it will take time and your body is still healing on a lot of fronts.

Apparently I missed LO's 2 month check up... It was scheduled for Friday but I have no clue why since he's not even 7 weeks. Oh well, get to deal with shots this Friday now.
Sorry to all with the rough nights, early mornings, crazy toddlers, and lack of weight loss. Momming is hard!
You guys are amazing ☺️ thanks for all the encouragement, it's really nice feeling like I'm not going through all of it alone, even if we are all still internet strangers 😉 I'll try to be patient with myself.
We found out today the girls might not get a spot at the preschool this fall (and we would keep them home). We are pretty bummed, but decided we would buy a nice gym membership where there is 2 hours of free childcare a day so my wife can get out of the house and get a break if they don't get in this year. Starting July I will be gone a lot.
I am taking both kids to the office this afternoon. It is a nice thing to do, but doing my 25 minute commute with both kids for a short visit to the office doesn't get me excited. If I didn't bring them down during my leave, I would have to hear all the time about how they haven't met the kids and I don't want to deal with that. Maybe I will stop by the consignment shop while we are down that way to make it more worth it.
The shots were more traumatic for me than I expected. It was the first time I've seen real tears, and they were giant crocodile tears down her cheeks. I totally felt like crying, but didn't want her to see me upset
She's sleeping soundly in my arms now, after giving me some smiles. I didn't want to go to the trainer today anyway, but I cancelled that. My girl needs my snuggles!
suelou18 try to enjoy the trip! I'm taking my LO in to work tomorrow. I'm not going back until fall, but I need to touch base with some people and C is 7 weeks old and I know some of my work friends are dying do love on him. Plus, I need some time out of the house!
glb30 I'm dreading C's shots. Sounds like your dd is doing ok though. Hope the fussiness is minimal, and you get lots of snuggles.
Just got home from our outing. DS had his 3 year checkup today, he's 45 inches tall and 39 lbs! They said they can't even give me a percentile for hight because he's off the chart for his age.
We the three of us went to the park for a picnic lunch and play time.

Y'all, babies are crazy. Max has only been nursing for 4-5 minutes at a time all day until now (it's just after 2:00 here.) He's been perfectly content, just not hungry.
FTMs who are nursing, remember this and don't freak out if your kid has a random not hungry day. (I'm not sure but I bet bottle-fed babies do this, too.)

Was at my moms for a couple days and then DH is out of town for work again this week so today is my first day just lounging in our own home w no plans w the 2 kids. Toddler hadn't melted yet and it's nap time so far so good.

OMG yes. Bottle babies do it too! It always seemed odd to me but...sometimes I'm more or less hungry depending on the day.

Posting from my new phone. You all convinced me, in all of 5 minutes, to go android so I did. I have so much work to do to get this phone functioning lol. I have contacts, pictures, email, FB and tapatalk.
The baby is pretty fussy post shots. I'm sad she seems so uncomfortable, but her temp is still pretty close to normal- 98.8, so I haven't given her Tylenol. I didn't expect to feel so sad she's uncomfortable. I can't imagine how I'll feel the first time she's actually sick. 😭

It is also a pain reliever. I had to give Max a dose and it really obviously helped his discomfort.
