Between random insomnia and my husband's snoring, I didn't get more than 4 hours of sleep last night. I have a big project I need to focus on today and I'm not seeing that happening. Plus, a freaking car was parked on our train tracks nowhere near a road, so my train sat for TWO HOURS before the car could get towed. Late to work, and I have to use leave to go home at my normal time, which fucking sucks.
Yeah if it were up to me we wouldn't wake until earliest 7 but I would love 8. H and I are both night people so we often can't fall asleep before 11. We're always running on about 6-7 hours of sleep.
packmomma Ava has been sleeping in until after 7 lately...Sometimes even 8! She has always woken up in the 6 o'clock hour, so I've mostly used her as an alarm clock too. But since she has been sleeping in we have been plagued by sickness. I'm *hoping* that once things are back to normal she will still sleep in this late and I can have time in the morning to myself.
H is feeling better after hydrating, thankfully. We go through almost weekly with him in the summer. He'll do work outside, have some beers, get sunburn, puke/dehydration sets in. Like clockwork. I can only tell you so many times to drink water. I'm not your mom, dude.
We also made the final payment for our DR trip! I just printed out all of the paperwork to pin on the board as a happy reminder that in 3 weeks I'll be on a beach with drink in hand at exactly this time.
H got me tickets to Tom Petty for my birthday. It's Thursday night and he took Friday off so I'm super excited. I'm thinking I may allow my mom to watch w as he'll be asleep the entire time. I'm super nervous though.
So I was taking a shower and Ava was rummaging through bedside table drawers. She comes running to me, so proud, with a bunch of condoms and lube. She handed me the condoms and said "here you go." Then she asked what the lube was and I told her lotion and so she pretended to put the lotion all over herself. Now that I'm writing this I realized the condoms are still in the shower. I was laughing so hard.
@betweenthelines sorry for the lack of sleep, at least it was to have fun! I read your post about DR as having a drink in each hand at first, seems like a good idea.

We met friends at an indoor play place yesterday and I'm a little sore today. But M had the best time and continues to just kill it with mobility. He was just tackling this huge obstacle course. It was great practice for him PDQ
He just took off down this tunnel with no promoting (the creeper behind him is H).
Google music does such a great job on recommending new music. Im listening to Overcoats and loving them so far. 2 female vocalist, great harmonies, just really prefect for my Monday morning.
zonagirl that's hilarious. We moved all of our "supplies" to the top drawer of h's dresser to keep then out of w's little hands because we definitely had a similar experience. 😂
