Formal wedding this weekend is a buffet. YOU DO NOT ASK PEOPLE IN FORMAL CLOTHING TO WAIT IN LINE AT A BUFFET. I can't deal with this.

I am not a usually a stickler for shit like this, but this GREATLY pisses me off. And the fact that dinner is not until 7:30pm.

My kid has another fever so we have to take him to the doctor. I emailed a top doctor who said there is no quick fix and it can be frustrated. At least he got the fever during the day, so no ER. That place sucks. They are so busy so it takes a while. They usually get us seen quickly​.

Regarding nausea, ginger has really helped me this time around.. At 12 weeks i got prescribed zofran and that worked for the whole pregnancy!

I got desperate and am drinking a Mountain Dew to hopefully help with my current headache. It always tastes like worse, flat Sprite to me😛
I'm in the process of taping off our back family room to hopefully paint over the next few days. I had planned to start earlier, but I napped instead. The fatigue has been real for the last week.

I really need some maternity work pants. I really own none. At my last district they were super lax on teacher dress so I just wore jeans a size up since summer started when I was around 16w. Went back in the fall and wore nothing but straight up yoga pants every day. My new district is a little more tight on teacher dress and I'm actually going to have to wear things other then yoga pants. Ughhhhhh. I'm definitely hitting the end of my ability to wear real pants significantly earlier this time.

I watched through Outlander a few months ago. It is good, not great IMO, especially the second season. The baby storyline was pretty intense, though.

I quietly stuffed tissues into my face and willed my husband not to look over until I was composed.

I admit that I thought this show would be worse because my BFF is a fan of the books but jokes about how bad/popcorn-y they are. I haven't read the books but have the first around here somewhere, thanks to her. I'm enjoying the show more than I expected and may need to read the books on mat leave!

I read the series during my first pregnancy. It was good pregsomnia reading (other than that part obviously). I think the books are well done. There are a lot of steamy sex scenes but the author does an incredible job of developing the characters and including a significant amount of history too. I would classify them as historical romance but better done that many others I've read. It's not like ... serious literature but is a great adventure with a side of sexy lol.

BA ha ha. I love that movie ... it's been awhile since I read them. I don't remember many annoying/ridiculous euphemisms. The sex scenes are part of the relationship developing between the characters so it's not written as like 50 shades of grey (my inner goddess is screaming!) type shit if that makes sense.

Have you watched Downton Abbey? That's a good background show. You just have it on and then all of a sudden you're two seasons in and you love it.

My lower belly is quite tender right now. On the U/S the lady had to press down quite hard to get the back of the neck measurement for the downs screening (came back low risk) and she had to do it a couple times. I was grunting away because I also had a full bladder! She kept saying sorry bless her, I told her not to worry as I know she had to do it. It's not bruised just tender to the touch.

But my uterus is definitely higher up this time around also, I can feel it now, and I couldn't until around 16 weeks with DS. I feel like if I was skinnier I would deffo have a little bump going on.

DH got up with DS with morning, and I can already hear him moaning/screaming with frustration already. Time to get up I suppose. We are going shopping in an hour anyway, need to get some more clothes for DS and new shoes!

The tech had me do jumping Jacks to try to get DS into a better position for the NT scan. He was not cooperative. I feel your pain!
