The pollen is bad here. I don't normally get bad allergies, just some slight itchy eyes during the height of spring. I am dying right now. How can my nose be stuffy and runny at the same time? Itchy eyes, itchy throat...heck even my ears are itchy. Guess I need to research what's safe to take while breastfeeding, anyone have suggestions?
Ds and I were waving bye to Mh. As he drove by I noticed that he had one of the car seats. Cue me running down the driveway in my pjs and socks while screaming his name. Oh good morning neighbors. He kept driving. Luckily he noticed about a block or two away and swung back around. We could have walked to the library but it might rain plus I wanted to go to the store. I'm glad my plans aren't ruined, I panicked for a minute.
That's the start to my work week. The nanny tells me this morning her husband got a promotion and they are moving to Atlanta, GA and it's happening in 3 weeks so she prefers this week or next week to be her last week. While I was not particularly happy with this nanny, I am so upset and panicking right now. H will be waking up soon so I am going to call him. I really don't know what to do or how to find someone new so quickly. I want to cry.
"The ingredients of Claritin, Claritin-D, Clarinex, Allegra, Allegra-D, and Zyrtec are generally regarded to be compatible with breastfeeding (again – always double-check the active ingredients). Loratadine (Claritin) has been studied and the amount of loratadine that passes into breastmilk is extremely low. Claritin-D and Allegra-D have the decongestant pseudoephedrine added (see above about possible effect on milk supply). Dr. Hale has said that he prefers the non-sedating antihistamines (even though they are long-acting) over the sedating allergy medications."

ambiguousmango, good luck today. Hope all goes smoothly! Also, no, do not wash your car. Not until he pollen is gone. no sense in washing it just to get covered in dust again!
peaseblossom55, woof. Good luck. I'm sure you will find someone great. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise?
I was just on Kelly Mom judyblume14! I'm thinking about going with one of the sprays since they seem to highly recommended because they stay more localized? Now that my ob is open I'll give them a call to confirm.
But I do have Zyrtec in the house as back up...it's for the dog 😂

Wow peaseblossom55, that's really shitty. I am so sorry that you need to go through all that anxiety again. FX you find a perfect unicorn nanny this time around!

ambiguousmango, good luck today! They changed systems on me while I was away too and I'm still lost. It's hard because I used to be the person that everyone would come to for assistance and now I'm the one way behind. It's no fun. I hope the rest of your day goes well though!
peaseblossom55, oh no! I'm so sorry. I hope you can find someone quickly!
heybulldog56, word. Mondays blow and I'm so not excited to be back at work.
lakegirl, I giggled at your gif. I'm glad you got the car seat and can still get out and about today!
Well Noah seems to have turned a corner and is finally feeling better. He still has moments of gagging/coughing/spitting up phlegm but otherwise he's getting back to being a happy baby. The only problem is he won't sleep in his PnP. We put him back in the RnP Saturday night so we'll have to work on that transition all over again.

It's a quiet day today, mh works tonight but is then off until Friday, it's so weird when he only works one night and then is off again. My mom had the procedure to drain the fluid off her heart this morning and is recovering in the ICU. She has her neurosurgery consult tomorrow and will hopefully be having brain surgery to remove the tumor by the end of the week. It's just so unreal to me right now.
carrots I have just returned home with Flonase. I can deal with everything else but the stuffy/runny nose kept me up last night. I can't wait until I can breatheeeee

I just want to sit in a room alone eat a whole candy bar and down a bottle of wine by myself. Neither of those things will happen but it's nice to dream. I still have some of the gourmet jelly beans H bought me last week to snack on tonight.

First day back wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I did cry and I missed Q but it was a short day and I get to pick him up now. If I could stay only working 6 hours a day it would be perfect. Oh well.
Any suggestions for really dry baby skin? M has some super dry patches that seem to be growing rather than improving. We've tried Mustela & Aveeno lotion and Aquaphor with no luck.
opheliainwaders it's an adjustment for sure! Right now ds is napping and dd is nursing so phone time. I also get interrupted in the middle of typing responses and forget to post them.
