I need someone to restart my heart....S just choked on a jelly bean before swallowing it. He got a late easter basket and H was eating the candy, S went over to inquire, I TOLD H NO JELLY BEAN, I mean, we don't really do candy and the few times we have it has always been a lollypop or an m&m that melts easy...and S doesn't do gummy anything, not even those fruit chews. Sure as shit he tilted his head back while getting off the couch and immediately started to choke.

robotpcrMcBgg21 thanks ladies. I mean, we did BLW when starting solids so I don't feeak out easily over a kid gagging. But sitting upright in a high chair while noshing on food is much different than a tiny hard'ish jelly bean while you kid is jumping on the couch.
And I just know my kid...he waits for an m&m to melt in his mouth, he doesn't understand the concept of chewy.
