It is pouring rain today. As we stood on the porch, I used the remotes to unlock our cars. Well by time we ran to them they were locked again! And apparently I didn't put my keys back into my bag, so when I went to start my car it was asking for the fob. Luckily DH hadn't completely left yet (he was pulling out of the driveway), so I could grab my keys from his backseat. I'm totally soaked now. I should probably put a spare set of clothes in the car since we've started the daily thunderstorms.
It's been raining here for days. I was thinking about trying to find indoor activities to get ds energy out. I need him to sleep better at night.
I have started closet purging and doing some inventory for clothes. I have a bad feeling about it all. I am for sure going to need clothes. But the debate is, what to buy? When to buy? Maternity? Baggy regular clothes? A million tanks and just wear sweaters and tanks? That's what I already always wear. But I am going to need some bottoms. More skirts or shorts or something. Or just wear maxi skirts as dresses? I don't know.

It's a rainy day here, but I'm glad to be in the office and not travelling (until later this week).
I went to the Starbucks on campus and asked if they had decaf. They said they had a cafe latte that just had one shot of espresso and it basically had very little caffeine. I thought it sounded weird but I got one. Now I'm googling and it says there is 150 mg of caffeine in this drink. Someone who coffees better than me - what is the truth?
thatgirlrachel I don't know about that particular beverage, but I do know that the recommended limit on caffeine is 200mg, so you're still well within the limit.
MH shared his cold with the toddler, so our night kind of sucked and poor kid is miserable today. It's supposed to be nice today (rain and cooler temps the rest of the week) so I'm planning to take him to the zoo or park later this morning.
My Monday complaint: I am so jealous when MH travels and gets a hotel room all to himself. DS is 2 and I have never spent a night away from him. I can count on one hand the number of nights I've gotten 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Being up all night with him and a newborn is probably the thing I'm most terrified of with having a new LO. 🙈

Well I also had a 9 oz cup from my Keurig this morning as well. And since I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly how much caffeine is in k-cups, I usually opt for decaf after my "real" coffee in the morning just to be safe.
I seriously need to start cleaning out our clothes and separating some stuff for goodwill but I'm lazy today. I might go to the grocery and lunch with my aunt but I can't commit at the moment.

What size did you get? If they only did 1 shot for a grande, then cut the caffeine in half. A grande gets 2 shots. So it's only 75mg if you got 1 shot.
Back from Australia! I did some lurking and liking while I was gone but I'm sure I missed a lot.
DD is still asleep at 10:15am, going on 14 hours now! She slept 16 the previous night. She only slept <4 on the way back from Oz though so she's still catching up. DH and I on the other hand are really struggling with the jet lag. We each only got about 4 hrs last night.
We are in day two of potty training. Today is going to suck.

ssm, three words: The Children's Museum. Great sleep! Another idea is the mall - they have a few free play areas, plus the train and merry go round are only a few bucks.
Oh, man. So, I (maybe not totally "legally") have YouTube playing and a wireless earbud in my ear all day long at work. Watching my favorite YouTuber and he said something hilarious, so I very nearly busted up laughing. Managed to get by maybe passing it off as a sneeze (MAYBE).
Perhaps I shouldn't continue watching this, but goddamn, I need it.

cougarette have you read marie kondo's book on purging? I was purging like mad right up until I was stopped by nausea and exhaustion. I've been meaning to get back at it :/

starmile good luck with potty training! You have my empathy
Thanks! We are in the naked stage right now... originally started out in undies and that was clearly not working. I wish I could hire someone to come in and do this for me.

i worked hard core at potty training ds. Every 10-15 minutes, he was going to the bathroom. I thought I would lose my mind. But eventually, a couple days in, I was able to stretch the time a little more and more. You will get there!

We did a ton of cleaning and moving some furniture around this weekend and it feels SO GOOD! I have this thing about rearranging every so often but it has been YEARS since i've been able to do that, so I have this new refreshed feeling now when I step into my home and I love it. Now you all are inspiring me to purge some clothes in my closet so I think i'll have to do that soon too!
Does anyone have constant RLP? I remember twinges of pain last time but no semi-constant pains.
Yes, pretty often. Every time I sneeze I have to brace myself. Anytime I stand up too quickly, roll over in bed, sit down too fast... seems like it happens more this pregnancy than past pregnancies. It's probably because i'm getting old too though.

But does it last a while? Not just for a few moments during the sneeze/roll over/get up motions? Also, I can press on a particular spot and it is very tender.
