I do UJAM and Spin 2-4 times/week (goal being 4, but sometimes I'm lazy or have a busy day/work lunch so I have to skip) and I'm hoping to keep it up throughout the whole pregnancy. I am thinking about doing yoga instead of UJAM one of the days though. We also try to do a family walk every evening and I try to hit 10K steps a day, which I also plan to keep up. Fingers cross I stay more motivated than last pregnancy!
I usually ran on the treadmill MWSat and biked on TTh. H is still iffy on me running since the FET (and my nose has been super stuffy) so I have been walking on an incline MW and biking on TTh. I also try to walk 30-40 min every day at work. I plan on trying to keep this up as long as possible and adding back in the Saturday's, once we have free time on weekends again.
I just plan on walking a lot. Last pregnancy I ran, then ran/walked until 25 ish weeks then kept up the walking. I also did exercise videos tailored to each trimester. This time I'm not in as good of shape so I think I just want to keep up with walking and really get back into fitness once the baby is born.
I plan to continue taking the stairs at work. Does that count?
LOL! I take the stairs at work, and every shift I get to the top and I'm winded. It's only about 5 flights. I'm usually carrying my venti Starbucks, too. I think I should lay off the calories and bump up the exercise. You guys are motivating!

I work on the 3rd floor of our building, so it's not terrible. I like to jog up them, but I can only manage that when someone isn't in front of me or coming down the stairs

We used to be on the 4th floor so I'd take the stairs a couple of times a day/every work day up until maternity leave and totally counted it as exercise.
I'm on the 1st floor now, so I only walk up the stairs on my way back from the gym...or when I go to our Starbucks next to the gym.

I'm trying to keep running, but I've been going really slow since I was slacking on running during tax season. I'm part of a marathon team and signed on for a race June 1st so I'm trying to stay in shape. My portion is 3 legs of 4 miles each so it won't be bad. They gave the pregnant lady the easy legs.
Because I really pushed myself to continue as normal last time, I am taking it easier at the moment, in case that has any influence on it sticking.
So I'm still going to the gym but doing weights rather than getting all purple faced from cardio. I was busy upping my exercise routine before the bfp and I'm still far from my weight/fitness goal so I don't want to lose the benefits of my hard work so far!
The doc I saw to confirm my pregnancy test scared me- said since I was AMA and not consistently exercising that I shouldn't do anything other than walking until 2nd trimester. So I've been seriously slacking in the exercise department. Unless chasing after and picking up a 27lb toddler counts for anything?
My OB yesterday said that was ridiculous advise and while I shouldn't be participating in an Ironman, normal exercise is perfectly ok. So I need to get back on that.

I'd pretty much fallen off the workout wagon prior to getting pregnant. Since finding out, I've been making more concerted efforts to at least walk the dog on a daily basis which I tell myself is better than nothing. Last night, I did yoga for the first time in a few weeks and it felt really good. I brought my gym bag with me today, so at least I don't have an excuse not to stop and do something on my way home.
Would anyone else be interested in a weekly workout/healthy living check-in for the board? GKU was starting one up right as I transitioned to here, and I like the idea.
I'm a Body Combat junkie. I didn't work out at all with DS and paid for it dearly - gained 50 lbs. With DD, I did Body Combat 4-5 times a week up to the day before I was induced (gained 11). Plan on doing the same unless situation changes. I am not a small person overall, but I like to think I'm not super overweight even if my BMI states otherwise.
