Thanks ladies, I feel slightly better now but I was pretty upset about it earlier. Now I have a baby cuddling with me so yay!!
Also do people hate their home life? Is that why they schedule meetings so late on Fridays? They probably just want you to be as miserable as they are peaseblossom55
Also + 1 @ lakegirl I felt much better about myself once I had some clothing that actually fit right.

It's probably the only time we were all free for it lol.

summergirl1211, lakegirl, yay new clothes! Work changed the dress code while I was on maternity, so everyday is jeans day! I am so happy. I splurged on new jeans that fit, but I'm still squeezing my milk jugs into my old shirts which maybe isn't the best look now that I say it outloud.
peaseblossom55, I'm sorry you're also dealing with low supply. Solidarity girl. I hope each of us can make the decision to quit, rather than our bodies making the decision for us.
I'm dying at milk jugs LovesMeSomeCake. I'm definitely working on embracing my mom belly. I have a feeling it will still be a little jiggly when I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight!
silvermelody Hi ya, my boys are getting on really well, M LOVES F even more now that there is chattering and smiles to be had. There is a huge desperation to get more from him but its still a touch full on for F, what with having to be a road and full on cuddles.
LovesMeSomeCake, every day is certainly a bonus when we all come out of it with all fingers and toes. I'm surprised I got 2 this far.
I'm really not sure what is up with F, we pretty much got to 5 feeds in 24hrs (4 in the day time and one night feed), then he has his vaccinations and we had a week of half feeds and now he's just not in to it. Today he was on 2 feeds by 4pm and was really not happy when I was trying to get him to take that 2nd feed. He was angry that I even dared think he'd want it. He's far from a starving baby (15lb+) so trying not to worry about intake but would just like to get back to a routine/flow I can predict.
Its really nice to be back and able to lurk and catch up with everyone. I'm no good with the tapa app and my eldest pretty much totalled my laptop so I've not been able to get on. Not that I've had the time either with both boys and all the things we seem to go to in the week.
I am hiding upstairs and just heard DS1 ask Dh where mommy was. Damn it.
Dd is asleep. I'm just holding her in the dark nursery. I do not plan on coming out until Mh does pjs and teeth for ds. From 4 o'clock on was really something. They tag teamed me hard. I believe there is a beer in my future.

ellabee oh no, hopefully you can relax and that will make it easier tomorrow. Does your hotel room have a soaker tub? If it does get a glass of wine and take a bath!! (This is my dream right now )
lakegirl, we have the same kind of tree, as do many of our neighbors, so it's really pretty for this week around here. Also, C HATES tummy time on the mat but loves it on my stomach (mostly bc the boob involved), but I've been doing that for
summergirl1211, why would you need to dump it? Can't you ensure that you get a hotel room with a fridge?

Oh man a bath is a great idea. I'm gonna make that happen!
ellabee, im sorry the trip is affecting your supply already. I hope you're able to remedy it. Can you get some mothers milk tea or brewers yeast to supplement with to boost?
lakegirl, thank you for asking. Pedi said it was heat rash and had me get some zinc powder to apply to it. He also showed me that all lotions I had (johnsons and aveeno) had alcohol in them 😳 I asked him about coconut oil and he said that makes sense. He also said "in your language, better do nothing than do something" meaning it's probably best to let her skin alone once it passes. He's an old Chinese man and was my own pediatrician, but even though he's known as one of the best and most natural dr in town, his English hasn't improved in 30 years, so I guess that was a Chinese proverb.
Today was dumb. It was cold and rainy as opposed to yesterday's 85* temps. We also had a steady stream of customers which meant running out of cars and therefore running around the used car lot in heels in the rain all day. My pumping sucked so bad today. I feel like one boob is severely lacking all of a sudden because W has been excessively fussy on that side. He hasn't been grumpy but he pulls away and wiggles and squirms the whole time. I'm starting to think it's because he doesn't nurse well after using a bottle all day because this seems to happen during the week but not the weekend. I did find a lactation cookie, etc. business that I'm going to try out since it was really good reviews.
Sorry to all the pumping mom's struggling, I'm right there with you thelittleredm have you tried the milk makers lactation cookies? I also drink their lactation tea. They have a coconut flavor that I like. I think it helps. A friend swears by the cookies and that they helped increase her output.

pibblemom, the hotel room might have a fridge but I won't be there very long. I'll be spending most of my day and a half at our corporate office, and I'm not even sure I'll have time to pump except during a lunch break and at the airport (and of course the 10 hours or so I'm in the hotel room). I'm just afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep everything cold enough, especially since I most likely won't have a way to freeze my ice pack.

How about some disposable ice packs like from a first aid kit? That way you just pop them when you need them cold.
Also, they're required to give you pumping breaks.
Started the day with leftover steak'umms on an everything bagel. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.
Took big girl to the doc - ear infection. She's feeling better though, so that's good.
Hi otepoti ! We have a couple other missing persons, no? @joybaby5 ? ashtog ? How is everyone?!
Swamped at work today due to a late start. I'll try to catch up later.
Or maybe not. I just remembered it's the 15th anniversary of my first date with my H!
mrsdee1982 as well! I think she was moving but I haven't seen her on here since.
Hi guys! So sorry I went AWOL. We moved from Southern California to Texas about 3 weeks ago. Life with 2U2 is crazy. Moving cross country with 2U2 is even crazier. I have very little time in front of an actual computer these days and I've never been able to figure out mobile TCF. But I will try and get on here more often. I hope ya'll are doing well!!
