So I woke up Saturday feeling off and my belly felt heavy. I took a bath and downed a bunch of water and started to feel better.
We took DS to dance class and then to the arcade after. After supper DH and I put together some freezer meals but then I started to feel nauseous so I went to lay down. I tried to lay for about an hour but continued to feel nauseous and like I couldn't take a full breath.
We went to L&D after the ILs arrived to watch DS. They determined I was dehydrated so ran IV fluids but contractions started when we got there and weren't getting better with the fluids.
The OB on call decided that it was time to do the csection at this point.
Logan George was born at 558am on April 23rd weighing 4lbs 5oz and is 18in long. His brother, Connor Douglas joined us at 604am weighing 6lbs and is 20.5 in long.
Connor swallowed some fluid during delivery so needed to be on the cpap machine for a day but its has been removed now.
Both boys are in the nicu in isolates as they weren't able to control their body temperature. Connor should be able to move to a crib in the morning. They both need to learn how to feed and currently being tube fed, although Connor breast fed last night. Logan would latch but wouldn't suck.
Given that Logan only gained 200g from the ultrasound we had at the end of March (compared to 800g with Connor) it's probably a good thing they came sooner than later, although I'm going to hate leaving them here when I'm discharged today.
Pics (PDQ) - Logan is the first one and Connor is the second
