I can't imagine doing all that nomnom 4 children boggles my mind. Not to mention 2 infants!! I think you need to take a little off your plate, and cut yourself some slack. I hope more sleep is coming your way, as well as more help (and maybe a productive conversation) with YH. My DH is dreading Tuesday because I go back to work and he is on daddy duty for the first time overnight. Literally FIRST time this entire 3 months. He's also nervous to handle both kiddos for the measly 4 hours I will be sleeping upstairs. Men can be useless, and women are mostly super heroes! Don't forget that

musicallyinclined - Just know... It's gonna happen... And you'll have JUST passed a rest stop when it does.
nomnom - Yikes, girl. YH needs to start doing more. I mean, we can all DO more, but it doesn't sound like he's willing to listen to the issues and address them. FX he magically steps up. And good luck Monday. Going back to work is so hard, especially when you're not in love with your job anyway. Huge hugs.
And it was announced that the preschooler wants rainbow cupcakes with rainbow icing and rainbow sprinkles.
Rainbow is OBVIOUSLY a color.
Obviously.
pivot - so... I'll need about two dozen rainbow cupcakes by next Saturday. Thanks

nomnom, I'm sorry you are so overwhelmed. Not much advice here, because I often feel like I'm going to explode with everything I'm trying to handle... and I don't work outside the house!

R's 2 month appointment was this morning. He is 11 pounds but only in the 15th percentile. My pedi wasn't concerned and R is eating fine but my mind is in overdrive.
We came home then he ate and napped for 4 hours with a quick 2-ounce segment in the middle. We cuddled and I watched stuff on the DVR. I need to snuggle with him more, I try to put him down for naps in the bassinet all the time because my mom has gotten in my head about that even though research says you can't overcuddle a baby.

He's doing OK. Or I should say he's doing totally fine and I'm ok. He's totally taking in all the snuggles and even though he's still lightly sedated he flirts with all of the ladies. The doctor said the surgeon came by and checked on him and he requested he stay with the tube overnight and wait to do the xray stuff tomorrow. A little (lot) disappointed, but I didn't go to school for like 20 years and I didn't operate on a baby so I trust his call.
I know he's in good hands. I came in this morning and one of the nurses had changed his stuff for purple and green bandage wraps for his tube and IV. They call him Hunky Hulk because he's so big and so flirty. I just want him home again. The house is full of chaos with the girls, 2 cats and 2 dogs, but still feels empty with him gone.

littleredfish, I hope tonight is his last night there. FX for you.
nomnom, I'm sorry you have so much on your plate right now. I would be demanding help, if I were you. I know less about pocket diapers, but what kind of smell is it? Ammonia? Have you posted on the cloth diaper board?
pivot, that cake looks amazing! And now I want a cupcake.
We went for a 45 minute walk tonight. Pushing a double stroller up hill is no joke! I am tired. Baby girl passed out about halfway through the walk, which was great! I just wish I didn't have to drive somewhere to get a peaceful walk in. I'd love to go for an evening stroll every night while she's at her fussiest. My dads is only 5 minutes away, but it still involves loading everyone up and the stroller, which is a pain. Ah well. Things to remember when we buy our next house.
shawnabm1320 It's poo smell. I post on the cloth diaper board and whined to S15 on FB. Lots of good advice that I'm working through. Tomorrow I'm going to try bleaching anything that smells just to get back to a baseline of non-stinkiness.
littleredfish- Sorry he's staying another night. At least he still seems to be in good spirits and also that the nurses have taken such a liiking to him. Like you say he's in good hands but I know you are ready for all the cuddles.

littleredfish sorry he is still there, hoping it is his last night
nomnom sorry for what you are going through - you have a lot on your plate, I hope YH can help more, I think you need to cut yourself some slack, you are doing so much!!
nomnom two sets of twins is tough (that word isn't even strong enough)! I must be incredibly hard. Make sure that DH is doing his fair share. Try and take it day by day, eventually you will settle into your new normal.
