I'm going to need a detailed review that I can use to justify buying it for myself please.
We have a keurig and H says we don't need the ninja coffee bar.
Yes, you do. It's amazing!! Way better than the Keurig. It uses real coffee vs a K cup so you'll end up saving money (and reducing waste) in the long run. There's a bunch of options too - you can make a regular size cup, XL cup, tumbler size, half carafe, full carafe, iced coffee. There are buttons to make a stronger brew and concentrated coffee (I'm a coffee snob so I won't call it espresso) so you can make lattes and cappuccinos. The one I got comes with a milk frother attachment but you can get one without if you don't plan on using it. Oh and all of the plastic parts are BPA free! I emailed the company and asked before I bought it because I couldn't find any info online. To my knowledge, Keurigs are not completely BPA free. And I have an issue with how you can't empty the water chamber and clean the inside of them. I've heard too many stories of mold building up inside keurig machines 😖
If you want to buy one, now is a good time! I got mine on sale at BB&B for $179 (regular price is $229) and I had a 20% off coupon so I got it for a little over $140! Mother's Day is right around the corner, JS 😉
Okay I'm going to AW just a little because I'm so excited about this: we finished the campaign for the fantasy war game DH and I started playing with a gaming group and I won free stuff for highest caster ability rating and tied for highest army advancement points. I came very close to beating DH out for highest army value, LOL, but he managed to hold on to that. Considering I've never played a game like this I'm pretty proud!
That's awesome! What game?
It's called Freeblades. It's a locally created game that they're starting to get going in other parts of North America. The creator is working really hard to increase interest and has done several Kickstarters.

Congrats! I've never heard of that game before, but I'll have to look it up.
No sign of snow yet, but the sun has gone away and the wind is picking up. I'm trying to get myself to work, but with this weather I just want to curl up, not be productive!

That sounds interesting, I'll have to look into it. H and some of our friends play D&D, but they've been feeling kinda burnt out on the current campaign, so introducing them to a new game might be what they need!

If they like the looks of it there's a new campaign starting in June that they're trying to turn into a nationwide campaign. It should be interesting!

Hey ya'll. The dog was too annoying for my family members to look after so H and I ended up deciding to leave early and took off this afternoon instead of tomorrow morning. We're currently heading north on the highway.
I already warned H that I'm not doing this crazy driving like we did on the way here (we ended up doing the 14 hour drive with just one driver switch at the halfway point). He's doing good, we've already swapped twice, and he finally stopped grumping at me

Hope you had a good time. Something that works well for me and my H for long trips is to stop and get gas every half a tank. In our car that's about every 4 hours. It lets us stretch our legs and each get a break from the road. We've had to do a bunch of 16 hour road trips this past year.

Thanks. Yeah, not bad. Just family drama, ugh. I'm very often glad that I live so far away that I don't have to deal with it. And it turns out that my parents are going to be moving to my city a full year before they anticipated. I'm so excited :-) We were stopping every time we got to only a quarter tank left. We have a tiny tank (like 45l, or 12 gallons?) and we're towing a trailer so that ends up being every 3 hours or so. I've got a small bladder too so if we tried to push it any longer than that H may end up with a mess to clean XD
mflowers929, Yuck, sorry about the family drama. I really want to move back home, but every time we go back to visit I always have drama with my mil. It makes me think maybe it's a good thing we haven't moved back.

@auri yeah, I feel ya. I was supposed to go to Toronto for school, but H didn't end up going out west to work like he was talking about, so that ended up not happening. I couldn't stand living there long-term anyways though. I get really anxious with too many people around.
I'm really lucky that I don't have in law drama. My MIL loves me, and I love her too, in an "I have no clue what you're saying because we don't speak the same language" sort of way XD

My husband drives like a freaking idiot and is mad at me for pointing it out. I just drove through literally the hilliest part of our drive and still only used 2/3 the gas he did for the same distance.
