All three kiddos were asleep by 9:15 and I was sleeping before 10 as well! First time I got to go to sleep before re DH too! Normally he will sleep while babes are nursing.
We are up for feed #1 so hopefully they stay semi decent sleeping tonight.

shellbell, last time I called the nurse line they were...less than helpful. They basically told me they couldn't advise me when to come in. But I could call and ask to talk to the nurse or doctor we always see. It would have to be Monday though. I'll see how she's doing today. She still only woke twice last night, but she's definitely snotty. No fever yet, though, thankfully!

shawnabm1320, lol to H going to a therapist. Maybe if I were strong enough to physically buckle him into the car like I do the two year old. He's skipping church again this morning... I thought I had a hard time explaining his absence last week....
It's not even 8 am yet and H and I have already had it out. I asked him to watch DS for an hour or so while I run to costco and the grocery store to get ready for me to go back to work tomorrow. He decided to get an attitude about it because "he has a lot of things he wanted to work on today." Good for you but too fucking bad. I'm sorry it's such an inconvenience for you to watch your child every once in a blue moon. I'm already an emotional wreck don't make it worse.

pivot - Ugh. Sorry. FX this afternoon is better. And sorry about work tomorrow. Huge hugs
Yesterday was busy. We didn't go anywhere, but between cleaning up, managing the kids, meals, etc. it flew by. MH and I had an argument about J and her attitude. She's four... She thinks she rules the roost. Because four. MH has zero patience. And J is a great kid! We rarely ever have issues. He just lacks patience sometimes and it kills me.
C slept well this weekend. FX it continues. This week is going to be nuts, and then I head back to work next week, and it's not looking much better. Ugh... I'm tired already!

I wouldn't explain anything. Where's your H? "He stayed home this morning." Church people don't need to know every tiny detail.
I'm going to church with my in laws and the baby today. H was out drinking until 3 lol! Glad he had fun because tonight's wake up is his turn! I can't imagine what that hotel room smells like this morning with six drunk dudes.

I'm taking the husband attitude this morning. H has both kids and I'm drinking hot coffee and eating a donut ignoring them. Now I know why men ignore us... It's glorious! Freedom! LOL

oldbaylover1024 Thanks lady. I think he realized that I was stressing over going back to work tomorrow and apologized and asked if him and DS can come with and he would take me out to lunch. I obliged.
ETA: Enjoy your few moments of husband like freedom lol!
On a lighter note (literally), I got on the scale this morning since it's the last day of the month and I've lost 7 lbs. since April 1st! All that exercising and clean eating has paid off.
I've found that I'm craving grains and sugars a lot less since eating mostly clean foods this month. I may start a whole30 in my near future to fully flush my system. I'll be sad to give up dairy though.

pivot sorry DH isn't being helpful. I was hoping to exercise this morning before we leave for the baseball game we're going to this afternoon. I didn't get to excercise Friday (I don't remember why) and yesterday because DH was sick, so I really need it. Well DH needed to get up at 6:00am to golf. By the time he gets home he'll be rushing around to leave for the baseball game. So again, mom doesn't get to do what she wants.
Dh's need to get their acts together and realize how much us moms do.

@monicagellar - I'm actually excited to go back to work so I can sneak in my workouts without MH or kids being affected. I can leave work an hour earlier and hit the gym before DC pickup. I've barely worked out the last three weeks and hate it. HATE. IT.

DH just got home after 5 days away for work. Yay! I am celebrating by ditching him and the kids and going to get a pedicure. I go back to work Friday so I have a pedi today, hair cut/balayage on Thursday. I also might buy a new outfit for my first day to make myself feel good.
The upside of DH being away was that I lost 5lbs chasing after two kids and not having time to eat. I'm 1.5lbs from pre poppy weight and 6.5lbs from pre-kids, not too shabby!!!

I feel loved and like I was missed. Or maybe it's just the real food but DS can barely eat this morning because he won't stop smiling at me and dribbling all over himself. Warms my heart.
He went to bed at 8:30 and woke up at 12:40 and 6am. Such a huge difference from being up every hour. I may have kept him in bed with me after midnight for snuggles.
pivot- Glad DH lfigured it all out and took you to lunch. Big hugs for tomorrow. Get all the cuddles you need in today.
Had my first grocery delivery this morning. Pretty nice! But still need to make a run to the store to order cakes for the babes baptism next Sunday. So this time didn't save me a trip just shortened it.
littleredfish, aww, that warms my heart!! I'm so happy he's home and happy.
shellbell, our church is small and pretty tight knit. No one asked about him this morning, though, he works weekends sometimes so people tend to assume he's at work (though he's only worked nights on the weekends for like a year).
Y'all are talking about working out and I'm over here stuffing my face with potato chips. I'd like to lose 10-12 lbs but the motivation is zero.

I just got home from BJ's abd the grocery store, thinking I could go to the gym real quick. Buuuut H invited a friend over while I was gone, so now I'm trying to figure out dinner and watch both kids while he hangs out. Ugh.
I may go anyway. Eff it. He can watch the kids while they hang out.

I'm with you, wildflower810. I did signup for the post partum exercise series that I did after F, but I'm not starting it quite yet. I'm still in the "I'm so tired I did a load of diapers and forgot to add detergent" stage of post pregnancy.
I did make H take all the bad snacks back to the youth group. He brought them home from the camping trip this weekend, and I told him they couldn't stay here. We're both trying to not eat junk, so 5 packages of cookies and 3 bags of chips is just a bad idea. I have no self control. 😬

I need advice. We took the kids to a kite festival today and they both had long sleeves and pants on but the baby got a little sunburn on the side of his head where he was in the carrier. I feel like a terrible mom. I've been putting cool wash cloths on it but it's still warm. What do I do?!

You're not a bad mom - things happen!
Keep it cool with washcloths, like you are, and moisturized with something super gentle. Maybe call the pedi to see what s/he says.
