I'm pissed at H because I'm not feeling well, on yet another antibiotic and have a four hour round trip today and he is refusing to get out of bed and help with the kids.
How is your Saturday going?

I am awake and dragging my feet to get things done here. We are having DH's stepdad and sisters over today because it is stepdad's birthday. I have been completely useless all week and DH has been awesome about cleaning up around the house. I need to be productive this morning and get food and a red velvet cake made. I thought I would get out of bed earlier so this should be interesting.

Morning! The kiddo let us sleep in. Weekend miracle! I just had some waffles with new syrup hubby brought home. His forestry kids made it! It is so good. Also we got a gallon for $40 which is an amazing deal. Syrup for days.

Plans today: buy a new grill, get in touch with our landscaper to set up spring cleaning, and take DS to the movies.

Hi!!!! I think the stars have aligned and we are both here on the same morning. I have actually been pretty MIA. I don't think I even opened TCF for a month or more. Life has just been busy and I haven't had it in me to come on here.

I miss this place and these people though so I am trying to pop back in while I can. And since I am apparently in need of some distractions this morning, this was the perfect place to come. Lol.

How is life?

Life has been busy here too! I don't have a lot of time to get on especially during the week. I am working M-F now with a decent commute so I am feeling a little burnt out. It is definitely a nice distraction to have though. How are you?

Hey this is exactly me right now! Sometimes I feel like going back to 12 hour shifts working 3 days per week is the way to go but I love my coworkers too much to go anywhere for now. Plus I feel like my current work place would be the best for pregnant me one day so I am just patiently waiting for that to happen. I can see myself going back to 12 hr shifts at some point post baby. Throws a wrench in all my plans when it is taking forever to happen. So taking it one day at a time.

We have a 4th birthday party to go to this afternoon, then my H is out of town for the night so I invited my parents over for supper. It's supposed to be a nice weekend and I am happy to spend most of it at home and get some more outdoor stuff checked off the list for spring.

Cakes are in the oven and pasta has been boiled and is in the colander in the sink. This level of multi tasking blows his mind!

Now to make some icing and then throw together the pasta salad.

I'm currently at a PTA conference this morning. Not the most exciting thing, but I got a bunch of free swag, so yay to that!

We don't really have any plans after that. I had a bit too much to drink last night, so I'll probably be super lazy this evening.

MH and I have been power washing all the things this morning. Usually he just does it but I tried it out today and it's pretty fun lol! We had to break for lunch about halfway through. Might go in the pool while he finishes up this afternoon. Great day to be doing water things here, hot but breezy.

Heeey guys. Got home this morning about 10 am. We did end up driving pretty much straight through, except for the hour we stopped up north because of ridiculous fog (literally couldn't see anything more than about 5 feet in front of the car).

Ended up going straight to sleep, and woke up to my landlord texting me all paranoid because we parked up front and still have the trailer attached to the car lol! Assured him that, no, we are not ditching out on him.
