CD 25 here and no sign of ovulation. I'm about to give us and quit peeing on my monitor sticks and quit temping for this month. I'm kind of over it and feel out. Ugh. Brings back lots of memories. I'm dropping another nursing session tomorrow which will leave me at 2 so hopefully things regulate out. I also need to exercise again to help control the PCOS.
QOTW: I love gym classes. Especially barre and yoga. I also like long walks.

Hi! I'm finally back after like...what? Six months? Anyway, my cycles returned so we are TFAS until our next IVF cycle. Just going to see what happens. I'd like to join the check in if that's ok?
westiemom, sorry that's so frustrating. Even without PCOS I think the first few postpartum cycles are often anovulatory. Hope things get regular soon!
I'm 3dp6dt having a hard time staying optimistic, mainly ignoring the whole thing. Likely beta or bust (I always did in the past). I don't even have any tests in the house.

Our second second opinion is on Wednesday then we'll need to decide what we want to do: stay with current clinic, new clinic last week, or clinic this week. I am leaning towards the clinic last week based on reputation.
QOTW: running. I'm actually trying to lose some weight right now and have been running and doing hot yoga when I can (there's no childcare there so a pain to get to really).

So today was suppose to be my second second opinion but they called yesterday (b/c of an emergency) moved my appointment to this Friday. Said PA was available today but with my history, would be better to meet with MD. So definitely a ding against this clinic. I got called by my mom yesterday (a little bit of context, my mom is first generation little asian lady). She is very blunt, culturally we are different, and I think we have lots of communication issues because of it. But she basically said we "should only have one kid, "one is enough", "if it were me I wouldn't put myself through treatment", "why is your sister-in-law pregnant, is this a competition?" "If God wanted you to be pregnant, it would happen." My husband is convinced she was trying to be helpful but failing 1000%. Other than that did an interview for job I potentially really want, they called me back for a working interview! So nervous. The last job I am interested in, they liked me, but want me to pass boards first before a real interview. So we'll see how all of this plays out. Waiting on CD1 to start, really hope CD3 doesn't happen when I am in Chicago again (which is all of next week for board review course). I need to get blood work done.

westiemom, I had to drop nursing completing to do IVF last summer and it broke my heart. It's one of my regrets, I gave up nursing to TTC #2 a year ago and here I am not pregnant (not knowing if I'll get to experience it again). I kinda wished I just let her nurse a few more months and wean herself. Martinis&Medicine, welcome! nikiswimr, the two week wait sucks. I could never hold out. I found night of 5-early 6dp5(6)dt I usually had an early positive. But it's a totally terrible mental game if negative and a totally reliever if positive. FX this goes by fast for you. Once I am done with my yoga classes (purchased before kids), need to find a place with childcare lol

westiemom , I really think it's a cultural thing and am not sure what it is. My SIL is from China and she also makes rude remarks (not as bad as my mom). About two months ago she asked me how many kids I want to have? And she knows everything. I wonder if it's culture/language barrier (for both English is second language)/maybe both! I don't think it's malicious but sure feels that way sometimes.

I have a consult in 4 weeks with my RE. I can't believe C is almost 10 months ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ she's becoming more like a toddler every day.
I'm so torn about timing of tfas. Ideally I would like to wait somewhat longer & enjoy our little family of 3 but years of miscarriages & failed IF treatments threw that whole plan off and now we are much older than I wanted to be at this stage in our lives. Our current plan is a FET in the fall ..maybe October. I'm really cherishing my nursing relationship with my daughter and plan to go beyond a year. I'm eager to see what my RE says. I'm also stressing that tfas could take a long time and if I don't get on it sooner than later, I will regret it

nikiswimr, big hugs been in your shoes. Sometimes frozen do take longer to implant.
AFM just had our second second opinion:
Clinic #2: Wants to repeat antagonist protocol since good numbers last time but wants to ditch birth control and do estrogen priming. Does not want to do genetic testing and didn't know what ERA testing is. Wants to do a 3-D US to see if something wrong with uterus that is causing implantation failure, said sometimes there is a problem that requires resection. He also thinks I am not really DOR and thinks we are mostly a MFI case (saying I'm borderline DOR)...says my FSH has always been normal and he seemed not to really believe in AMH (in 2014 it was 0.5 and last summer it 1.0). Does vaginal progesterone unless labs indicate I need more (for fresh and frozen). Wants to repeat RPL since I had some slightly positive labs (clinic 1 didn't think was necessary since after **tw mc******** agreeing with our original clinic mostly likely elevated bc of ***mc******)
Clinic #1: Wants to do estrogen priming + microflare lupron (which worries me a little since never done before). Freeze all genetic test. Do ERA testing. Then transfer. Do PIO. We are leaning towards this clinic but I am going to ask them to repeat my RPL panel even though they didn't think necessary based on appointment this morning. Part of me wonders if we should do estrogen priming + antagonist or just go all new. Thoughts? Overall, we are on last covered cycle, we want no regrets, and I feel this plan is the best to try to rule out issues.

dp21 I would go with clinic 1 and insist on rpl testing but I still think dr. Kk also needs to happen. If not kk then beg them to allow lovenox at transfer all the way through first tri.

BFN for me, and that was my only frosty. So on to something else. We had discussed doing an antagonist protocol and sending everything for PGD (S? I can never remember) if this didn't work. I guess I'll get the details tomorrow.
