It's been 3 years so i may be remembering wrong, but i think the fatty creamier milk comes in towards the end of a feeding on one side so you don't want to switch too early because baby might not be getting enough heavy milk and too much of the watery stuff. I usually finished 1 boob before switching and offering the second, in the beginning 1 was usually enough, after a few months he needed the second. Then i'd always start the feed on the boob i didn't start last time.
