Hey all I was wondering if maybe we could create a thread for crockpot meal ideas? I made something yesterday and I realized how easy it was instead of making dinner last night and rushing around. With work approaching I need to find things that are quick and easy to throw together in the mornings to be ready to be able to eat right when I get home 😉
1 lb stew meat 2 cans golden mushroom soup 1 bar cream cheese Dash of garlic powder 2-3 tsp Worshetisere (sp?) sauce 1 med onion chopped 1 pkg mushrooms (I used Bella) 1/2 cup of water
Low 7-8 hours and last 15 mins put on high and throw in the cream cheese and stir I served over egg noodles 🍝
Poppy32617 yes! I did this yesterday, too! For the first time ever. Unfortunately, I didn't like what I made, so I'm just going to skip on sharing the recipe. I'll be following though!
Nothing too exciting here. We did a pork butt for pulled pork sandwiches this week.
We also do Italian beef sandwiches. For that, I do a roast, packet of Italian seasoning, beef broth, and these pickled Italian vegetables (I forget their name).
I feel like it is hard to find recipes that can be on all day.

We're doing apple pulled pork tomorrow. Thinly slice one large onion and layer on bottom of crock pot. Slice a pork tenderloin into 1-2 inch thick sections. Add a cup of applesauce or 2 apples cut in 1in chunks. Pour half a bottle of bbq sauce over it all and cook on high for 5-6 hours. Shred pork and serve on your favorite bun.

Another favorite here is salsa verde chicken. Layer one thinly sliced onion and 2-3 chicken breasts in crockpot, pour a jar of your favorite salsa verde over it, top with sliced bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and frozen corn. Cook on high 4-6 hours. Serve over rice and beans with cheese sprinkled on top.
2-3 lb roast Packet of ranch dressing mix Packet of brown gravy mix Packet of Italian seasoning 1/2 cup water
Put roast in. Dump everything on it. I throw a few potatoes and a bag of baby carrots in. Low for 8 hours.
My family loves this roast!
We do a lot of the same things mentioned above...roasts, pulled pork sandwiches, meatballs, mushroom chicken, pork chops. Liner bags are a must and slow cooker with a built in timer helps too!
Not dinner, but I love doing crockpot breakfast. Makes feeding everyone in the morning so easy.
Sausage meat of your choice Shredded or diced hashbrown Lots of shredded cheese 12 eggs Tabasco sauce Salt and pepper
Put hashbrown in the bottom, add everything else and mix. Cook on low for 8hrs. Scoop into tortillas for breakfast burritos. Eat it on/with toast. Whatever!
You can add peppers, mushrooms, seasoning, etc. Change up the sausage (hot, mild, maple) or substitute ham. Can't go wrong.
*Edit because TOBASCO sauce, NOT tobacco sauce. *shudders*
