Hello from the interstate again. We got a later start than I would have liked to. I told MH my plans to leave as soon as I got off work. I didn't think that meant I had to spell it out for him. I expected the car to be mostly loaded and he and M to be ready to go. Hahahaha. I walked in the door and neither of them were even dressed. Most of the bags were in the foyer ready to be loaded. And we had to stop to gas up. Dude, you had the whole morning to get all of this done. 🤦🏽♀️
Omg, story of my life. If I say I'll be ready than I'm running out the door with the kids and our bags when MH pulls up. With MH it's all, "oh we just need to pack this. And this. And this. And stop for lunch. And get gas...." I get so pissed.

Oh look, it appears DH is living a triple life.
Lol. MH is like that with travel in general. If he is driving 4 hours up north he would ideally stop once (or twice) for gas, once to pee, once for food and maybe once for an oil change or shopping. I'm over here like, we can do this with zero stops!

This is my FIL. Traveling with them a few weeks ago was... something. They stop way too much for me. I want to get to my final destination ASAP. Minimal stops. MH won't stop unless necessary either. Like, we put a pull-up on M when traveling in the car so if he falls asleep, he won't pee in his seat. Today M woke up from his nap and said he needed to pee. MH was all- why do we need to stop? He has a pull up on. Uh no. The boy is asking to go potty- he doesn't want to wet himself. Get off on the next exit please so he can do just that.
