Ahhhhh!!!! So excited for the weekend. H and I are going to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 tonight and I'm going to try convincing my mom (and myself) to keep the boys for a sleepover since we've started supplementing with formula. I just want to sleeeeppppp.

Sunday makes me anxious about Monday. I am going to have to go with Friday. I love that I can get home and just enjoy my family without having to prep lunches, hurry DS1 along for bedtime, make daycare bottles, etc. I feel like I can actually sit back and relax on Friday. Saturday night is also pretty relaxing but I struggle to keep from thinking about what I need to get done on Sunday.

I'm going to go with Saturday. DH is usually working so it's a little stressful but it's usually my "let's do a fun thing with the kid(s) after working all week" day.
Sunday I end up doing chores and groceries and stressing about Monday so it's less fun.
Obviously Friday. It's the start of the weekend, you have the entire weekend ahead of you and infinite possibilities without the disappointment of not getting everything you planned done, in the summer we go down to the shore, Mh will be home to help with the kids, etc.
Sometimes, especially when I was working, I oddly like Mondays. It feels like a fresh start. Except when Mondays be Mondays.
I agree with heybulldog56 about Sunday anxiety. We call it a "case of the Sundays" when one of us is down about it.
GTKY: What's your favorite day of the week and why?
Fridays are nice because work is usually slow, the workouts programmed at my gym are usually fun, and the evening doesn't seem as hectic because there's nothing to prep for the next day.
Saturdays are awesome. I either take my big girl to swim class and let my H have one-on-one time with baby A... or H takes big girl to swim class, and I get to go to the gym. H and I get to spend time together while the girls nap in the afternoon. This time will soon be spent by our pool when it opens! And then we all hang out in the late afternoon and evening together - shopping, playing outside, watching Nemo or Dory for the 100th time, etc.
