lindsay so when do we get to go on baby watch? Is your induction date the 18th? I'm thinking we need to be on watch next week...I'm way invested in these babies, I can barely believe there are going to be 2 new babies!!
I won't be having any more babies so I have to live vicariously through you all lol.

I am so, so bored. Just sitting around at home with nothing to do is zero fun. DH is snoring on the couch. I'm irrationally mad about this. If I have to be awake and bored, so should he.

I'm pretty good! Maternity leave is treating me well.
DS will be 8 weeks on Monday which is insane! That also means I have 8 more weeks of maternity leave!
DD adores DS. She's done pretty well so far. The biggest challenge has been an uptick in her attitude and defiance which I suppose could also be attributed to the terrible twos. Oh, and she only ever wants me. For everything. Which, as you can imagine is tough sign a newborn who is breastfeeding.
Anyways, I've been lurking and know now that there are a lot of preggos! How is everyone?!

DS is a good baby overall (wee, minus today. It was a little rough). But he's pretty darn chill, especially compared to DD at this age! He's also a big boy! He weighed 12lbs 4oz at his 1 month appt. We have his 2 month appt on Monday so I'll be interested to see if that trend has continued.
That is a good length maternity leave! Did they improve their policy?! I wanna say I could only take 12 weeks.
DD also only wants me most of the time soo idk how that is gonna go when babies are here.
Yes! They JUST changed it effective April 1 (and retro'd) back to beginning of the fiscal year. They now have a parental leave policy for executives which is 8 weeks paid. It's for fathers too so sean gets 8 weeks! It can be taken continuously or intermittently. I chose to take it continuously and sean chose intermittently. I should add, for mothers, this is on top of the FMLA leave you get. So, my doctor wrote me out for 8 weeks (I asked and she didn't even hesitate!) and I got the 8 weeks paid parental leave so 16 weeks total!
Hey ladytiffany24 good to see you posting around these parts. Glad everything is going well. Two is a lot. A lot. Lol. They're worth it though. Wouldn't give either one back. 😏

Yup. 2 is some special kind of hell while all wrapped up in a magical paradise. How is that possible?!
