@betweenthelines its great. Id try it before you commit tho. My friend - who doesn't have as dry lips - said it did nothing for her beyond what a basic lip balm does.
I've been dying to buy this since the last Sephora thread on Parenting. I don't use a brow pencil but I think it definitely looks nice when done subtlety

If you want to try a MUCH more affordable option, the NYX brow pencil is a fantastic dupe. I actually like the color options better, it lasts the same time, and its a bit finer (NYX is) to look more natural. It available at Shoppers and other drug stores. Its ~12$ instead of ~30$
This Kat Von D in "Berlin" This for SURE needs a serum or primer for me or else it looks flakey and gross. Otherwise, it is fantastic. It stays forever. I drank copious amounts of booze... in a pool, in Vegas and it looks flawless when I got back to my hotel room.
This Marc Jacobs in "Boy Gorgeous" - Lip Creme Lipstick This feels heavenly on the lips, stains them a bit, but fades pretty quickly. Transfers to wine glasses pretty readily until completely dried down. Still transfers tho. I have to reapply this one. Its more a conventional lipstick than longwear.
This YSL ROUGE PUR COUTURE in Rouge Vermillon - raspberry red This one is a lot like the Marc Jacobs but makes me feel powerful and sexy. Total mind game, but worth it ;P
I think I want to move toward lipstick because I did have a MAC gloss that I loved the colour of but my hair would get stuck in it. And I mean STUCK. It was only possible to wear if I wasn't eating or drinking and if my hair was done up. Which is lame.

Find a non-sticky gloss. When I think of MAC gloss I thing of TLC's trading spaces (Im pretty sure it was that one) when that girl carpenter put on gloss and then used her circular saw. Saw dust and her hair coated her lips.
Maybe this will work? I have downsized my basket extensively and decided to focus on building an array of nude-ish colors. Anyone try any of these and can recommend? Hopefully my pasting works.

does sephora have that digital make up try-on feature?
It sure does! For lip color and eyeliners.
Choose a picture of yourself that is very well lit for more accurate results. Note, it also works and is hilarious on men with beards... just saying lol.
ETA: I brain farted when writing this. You don't use a picture, you turn your camera on. I meant a well lit environment with your camera on.
noname Ive never heard of Lipsense. What draws you to that brand?
There's like 10 people in the FB group that sell it lol. So I see tons of pics showing how long it lasts. I see it enough to make me want to try it
OOh! I think I do know this. I think its the one that is featured on my Instagram?! I see it every day (in addition to those black head pulling tweezers...)
Can anyone in the facebook group attest to how long lasting it is? Maybe have them take pics of it on, and then document how long it lasts. Or look on YouTube for an unbiased first impression? I tend to avoid those types of sales things tho, for no other reason that I'm stubborn. I suck at picking colors on a screen.
RandomName I have tried and like the make up for ever liquid matte and like it. It is drying though. I also like the NARS lipsticks but find that they wear off fairly quickly other than the matte formulas.
Im more leaning toward Make Up For Ever. Jacklyn Hill raves about it so I am biased haha.

RandomName, every time I choose a colour without trying it on, nails, lips, anything it's a huge flop haha. I need to try it. And possibly have others suggest it first.
Maybe this is a FFFC, and putting aside the debate about the family, I spiraled on KKW x Kylie colors last night and am convinced I need them. The only thing stopping me is that it is currently sold out on her site.
RandomName it's the picking colors part that's kept me from buying thus far. That and my oversupply of other regular lipsticks. I do take note of the color used when someone posts a pic and I like it, but it's hard with different skin coloring to tell how it'd look on me.
Can you look for a reviewer online with a similar color to you? Some reviews post their foundation colors to color match. Maybe an option? Or even YouTube, they do that alot on there too.
