It does NOT look terrible tuscanlatte. The first few times I wore lipstick I felt the same - maybe because it was so different? It also felt like I had a huge target on me and sign "LOOK AT ME".
But lol, not nude. Not even a YLBB. But still looks great, and makes your eye color pop!

I think it will take some getting used to like RandomName said also I think it would help if I had other makeup on as well haha. But now I have some things to play around with!
I love corals but with my casper complexion and dark hair they clash with me. Damn you tuscanlatte for being able to pull it off That is a fun summer color on you.

The Sephora matte lip stain is also a really nice formula. Not as dry feeling as Kat Von D but has the same stay power (kid kiss tested).
One color "pink peony" was a flop. I'm torn between my other two colors bc I like them both but for different looks ("copper blush" and "pretty beige"). So many decisions.

Thanks everyone, you all helped me decide. I'm only keeping one Sephora color - Copper Blush. I'll return pretty beige.
I also got: Kat Von D in bow n arrow --> sooo pretty color. It looks aweful on me. Sephora - pink peony --> ok, too pinky for my liking. Both are to light for my tone I think. I'll take a pic tomorrow to show what I mean.
I've already filled my basket again with more lips to try. Luckily I'll be in a store Monday so I'll be able to swatch many of them

So a quick update on the Sephora lip stain. It's goes on beautiful, its super pigmented and it feels great on.
After a few hours, it like slides down my lips if that makes sense. It wears off the middle and insides first and then it like slides down to the edges of my lips. It looks like I have a different color lip liner and lip stick on. After the first time, i put foundation on my lips first to see if it would fix it. It helped but it still slides down. Anyone have experience this and have a fix I can try? Kat Von D, and Tarte do not do this.
ETA: I've also tried exfoliating first, serum first, balm first, completely clean and dry lips. It always slides down.

tuscanlatte I picked up two colors from the reckon liquid lipstick you posted. How long did it take them to dry down? Or did it completely dry down for you?

They dried after a minute or two. Still transferred a bit, but I was impressed, I had to wipe it off when I was done wearing it, it didn't wear off.

Hmm. It's still now a bit tacky on my lips but the color is holding up surprisingly well even despite transferring a bit. Its also not nearly as drying, likely because it hasn't fully dried down.

@mrspanpan it's official. I'm alll about tarte colors. I bought 3 today.
Bestie, Obsessed, Delish
I also gave a Sephora collection color another try because it was insanely pretty. It was not as crappy as the other ones. So, I got that one too.
Today I learned: 1) smashbox liquid lips crumble off my lips and actually flake on my chin and stain it. 2) the two faced melted liquid lips - are a hard no for me. Thick and streaky. It likely was an old tester but I didn't even bother trying another one.

Pound that looks cool tuscanlatte you'll have to report back of you like it. I wonder if the brow tip is as fine as the one I use. That's one of the reasons I love it so much - and my perfect color match.
