I'm at MIl's. Today the kids and I went to the nursery to pick out a tree for the yard. Tomorrow DH has to dig a 5ft hole for said tree while the girls and I jump in the puddles! We're also suppose to plant DD1's vegetable garden this weekend, but I have no idea what I'm doing.
I'm curious because they don't reveal everything at once so I want to keep watching. But I cannot stand men acting like jocks or misogynists or shitheads. So that makes me kinda stabbt. But it's high school so kinda accurate.
Tomorrow we have my mom's little "bachelorette day". We are just doing one of those painting classes where you can have wine and then going to lunch. I don't actually think it's really what my mom wants to do but my aunt is a controlling pain in the ass and basically planned it offered to pay for lunch which I could not afford to do. It's also out by her house (about 45 minutes away) which is inconvenient for everyone except her and my cousin. I should've be home by late afternoon though and we have nothing planned on Sunday. I think DH is going to try and seal the swing set.
We're doing a pink birthday theme mixed with cinco de mayo party for DD tomorrow. Then Sunday it's our mommy and me tea party with a friend from daycare and her mom.
My mom's bachelorette day actually turned out to be really nice and DD2 took 2 bottles while I was gone so I'm relieved. Both kiddos are in bed and DH just went to the gym so I'm going to pump and watch a little TV and relax. ☺️
Church was much better than anticipated. They had their service in a community room instead of the chapel to accommodate MIL's wheelchair. It was very informal. They had a corner with toys and DS happily played there for most of the service. The highlight was that when I brought DS to the bathroom to change his diaper, he wanted to sit on the potty and actually peed!
