grumpycat88 I keep wavering on whether or not I want to be team green. I am keep going back and forth as to what I think this baby is. My parents might live in NJ

I've booked a surprise day away (next Sunday) for DH to watch his favourite football team as an early bday present as it's his 30th this year, him and my dad are going together as they both love the football team. It's about a 4/5 hour drive there and back, and they are doing it in one day.
Now because it was a surprise, I didn't write it on the calendar in case DH saw it, but my mum knew that date so that was fine.
When booking our gender scan, I done it for THAT Sunday, without thinking. As I turned 16 weeks that day.
Just had one of this light bulb thoughts come into my head "shit when is the day away for DH" and I had booked it on that day.
Rang the U\S place and changed it to the Saturday morning. I'll be 15+6, that will be ok won't it? I know they say you have to be 16 weeks, but 1 day won't hurt will it?

Edited to fix smiley
Did you have a destination wedding in Europe?
Unfortunately no, but that sounds kind of awesome.
Omg! So funny you say this- I was dreaming about a chicken strip basket for lunch but DQ is across town and I didn't have time to go during my 30-min lunch break.
I ended up getting a fancy crispy chicken sandwich from Mcdonalds. But I took off the bottom bun and only ate half the fries. #healthy #fitpregnancy

Just caught up. I missed so much. This week has been insane for nausea. Even my phone was making me motion sick. 12 weeks on Monday and I'm feeling better. Totally pushing it with pizza for supper, but I NEEEED it.
We got the heartbeat first try at the ob today. Doppler read it as around 160. It only lasted for a few seconds though and then baby moved away. The nurse was like, "Well that was a quick hello!" It's nice to have a lighthearted dr's appointment. I just wish I could feel all of the moving this little one is doing.

That's so great! Yay for a great appointment. And I feel you on the movement. I can tell with my doppler babe is moving a ton. And I think sometimes I can feel him/her. Then I fart. 😞
Omg omg. I am taking a bath before I pick up DD, I left work early. Yes it is 4 pm.
Any way, I totally just saw my belly move! Like full on movement visible. Wow. I thought this was way too early but this kid def was kicking.
That's so exciting!!!
During my very light nap earlier, I swore I felt movement from the outside. But there's also a really good chance it may have just been during one of my brief moments of dreaming.
@thatgolfbitch, yay $7000. That's some bullshit, huh? For a total of 20 shots. $350 per shot. I can't even do anything but laugh.
twotxmommies I think I should have the results before the end of next week, hopefully. Not soon enough, that's for sure.
I had a very busy week so I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. It is going to be very warm here so I think we'll going swimming Sunday. I can't wait. DS LOVES the water so I think he'll really get a kick out of the pool this summer. He was rather indifferent last year but he was still a baby. Pretty sure he'll go apeshit this year
Got a good run in this morning. Hoping it gives me a good calorie buffer. H is taking his parents to the guardians movie this afternoon and I'll be treating myself to Tully's tenders while he's gone. Nomnomnom fried chicken!

Nice! It's practically my ideal running weather here today (50 and rainy). I'd love to head out, but I don't think it'd be good for my body to start running again at this point. I am planning a gym visit though.

I cheated and showed my treadmill my love today. I might head outside tomorrow. I can't find my waterproof iPod, so I'm hesitant to run in the rain since my ass old Bluetooth headphones are limping along these days. I don't think the rain will play nicely with them anymore.
I just finished our local race series today and am debating signing up for next years. How soon did you start exercising again post partum? i missed one race last year when i was 4 weeks pp and wasnt comfortable walking a 5k. This year i would be 2 to 4 weeks pp when theres a 2 miler. But! that race is more a very casual walk through a neighborhood to look at christmas lights.. What do you think?

I started walking at 2w, got cleared to slowly start intervals at 4w, was running again at 6w.
Rogue kudos to you for planning to be active again! I had a c/s so I was out of commission for a while. I played a soccer game 6 weeks pp and man was I sore! I also did not realize how much your core is responsible for maintaining an upright position and definitely fell a few times just running haha.
@iheartmyshiba so sorry for your loss. I'm glad your mom was able to watch your dd.
Afm- lazy Saturday today. Ds and I played outside and just finished lunch. Now it's nap time for us both! DH has been working outside on some concrete all morning. I should do laundry but since the new concrete is right by our dryer vent I can't... oh bummer 😂
