DD has been coughing since last week and today complained her ears hurt. So I kept her home from school and took her to the doctor, but I had to take the baby too.
Doc says no ear infection so that's good. He also said to try and keep A and the baby separated and I was like lolok. She coughs in his face daily, poor baby.

@preppy yeah, definitely dreading the cost of daycare to more than double when R starts. Goodbye all my monies.
billybumbler don't you wonder sometimes what Dr's are thinking when they suggest stuff like this. Either they aren't parents and are clueless to what life with children is actually like or they are too by the book for their own good.
loves2shop4shoes my last name is a fairly common name with 2 T's at the end, everyone spells it with just 1 T. It doesn't matter how much paperwork is in front of them with it spelled correctly, people just don't always think. Try not to let it bother you. And yes, dropping a 12 week old at daycare is so sad. It's been said, but I'll say it again: it does get easier.
loves2shop4shoes sounds like you had a not bad day overall, but I completely agree that US mat leave is awful. And I do hope it gets easier, although I am sure you will always miss her while at work.
