Good morning! This week is going to be kind of busy so I'm sure it'll go fast. I have nothing planned today besides yoga and cleaning though so it'll be nice to relax.

Baby boy's first pedi appt is today and of course it's right during DD's nap time so this will be fun. We have to bring her and she's going to be crabby. MIL is coming later to stay for the rest of the week since H is going back to work tomorrow. I'm hoping she's actually helpful this time since I'm still in considerable pain but I have my doubts. She did offer to bring her carpet cleaner and clean our carpets. Umm, random. Not exactly what I need help with right now. But thanks?
We have DD3s second pedi spot this morning...just a weight check and f/u newborn screening (pku, etc).
I also need to drop off my disability paperwork...almost forgotten about that...whew!
DH is going to be gone overnight one day this week for work....I keep saying this but I'm so glad DD1 has school and we're paying for Daycare anyway so I can send them off for the day and get some down time....
H had vacation time he has to use by the 13th (or lose it) so he's home again this week. Fine by me, I need the extra set is hands for DS. After nap time I want to go for a walk on a paved trail in efforts to try and encourage this baby out, which I'm sure won't do anything but I guess the exercise is good.
+whatever to not installing the car seat yet. Oops.
Had another super crampy night with crappy sleep. Feeling mildly crampy today and just generally nauseous and off. Which is probably because I didn't sleep. Come on babyyyyyy. Vacate the premises.

So we still haven't installed the carseat...probably should get on that this week. We meant to do this like 2 weeks ago.
Yup this is us too! We might do it tonight. Haha so glad we're not alone!
Is it bad that I'm just planning on chucking the car seat in the trunk and DH will install it at some point before discharge, probably in the hospital parking garage?

I had my 37 week mw check up this morning. Everything looks good. She's guessing my baby might be 7.5-8 pounds but who really knows.
I'm now sitting outside the chiropractor cause my appointment isn't for 10 minutes and I had to bring my tiny dog with me so I want to leave him alone in the car for as little time as possible. Then bringing him to the vet because he has this reoccurring skin infection that he just can't quit. 😩 Then acupuncture later... So many appointments today!!!
But I'm like 98% done with my MBA!!!!! Just waiting for comments from a professor on one paper then I'll incorporate them, get it back to her and I'm DONE! We cerebrated last night with ice cream sundaes. Mmmmmmm. It feels so insanely amazing!!!! (Even if I'm not quite totally done it feels close enough!)

Second kid syndrome!
I definitely had the thought that worst case scenario we could do just that! So that made me feel better. 😉

rosesquared yep. It's not even my backup. It's my plan A. Lol.
At my hospital the valets check to see if you have a carseat - I bet they could help if we really needed it. Though DH is a pro at the install by now because he has to take the seats in and out of his car pretty frequently for work stuff.
Happy Monday! We put the car seat in last week, to appease my "DO ALL THE THINGS" anxiety.
I'm feeling nauseated, but I think it's because of constipation (yay third tri). Despite just being at 38 weeks (per my doctor), I am feeling really fidgety and annoyed that I'm still pregnant. I know I need to find my zen.

on second thought, maybe they can't, might be a liability thing.
I had the most sudden severe headache, and vision disturbance in my left eye yesterday. Doctor said to go get my blood pressure checked, went to the pharmacy and it was 139/90, and I usually have ultra low bp normally 90/60 so since it was Sunday they had me go to l&d. Had a mixed bag of symptoms, very thirsty, but no swelling, nausea, and gained a few pounds in a few days, but test came out fine and BP went down, they think it was just a really bad migraine, in hindsight I feel kind of stupid going in, but better safe than sorry. While I was there I was having contractions every 6 minutes, but I was still at 4cm, bag of waters buldging. They said they would probably see me soon. I said I guarantee they won't see me until my induction on Friday. We shall see!
Add me to the list of ppeople who have DH install carseat the day he picks me up. I am using my spare seat till the very end. After next week our van is filled to capacity!
Hmm...DH installed the car seat the day he picked us up from the hospital 😋
+1
+2 here
The boys got discharged from the nicu yesterday afternoon. We all survived our first night at home.
Our nurse said L is still very little and we shouldn't have visitors over or let people handle him alot so he can conserve energy for feeding.
My mom was pissed when she dropped off Ds1 last night but I really don't GAF. I just hope DH will step up with his family and I don't have to be the bitch there too.

Yup I'm totally there now that school is mostly over. Today my mw suggested starting the day with a meditation, not sure if you're into that but I might give it a try! 😊

In theory I'm into it, as I tend on the hippy side. In actuality, I get hella annoyed when I try to meditate on my own, ha. But I do see a relaxation skills coach 1x week for guided meditation.

My hospital doesn't and won't check/help with carseat. I was sorta surprised by that, but liability wise it makes sense.
Both of the centers I was at said they couldn't due to liability- they're not certified to check installs nor to place baby in car seat/check baby in seat
