Morning. I worked for a whole 5 minutes before I got up and talked to my coworkers for an hour. Oops. I do have a lot to get done this week. Of course there's a bunch of last minute changes I need to do asap.
H took the day off to recover from his golf weekend, so he's at home with C by himself. He hasn't had him alone for this long since December when I went back to work temporarily. I told him it's a loooot different now. So I hope it goes well.. but not TOO well.
Morning. ClassyMrsA that is a favorite gift of mine, even though I don't drink coffee, and today I definitely feel that way about caffeine.
I have another headache today. It showed up middle of the night and is only getting worse. Don't usually wake up with a headache and I have frequently lately. I don't like this trend. I am almost hoping it's the weather (I haven't ever had that correlation before).
Today is grocery day, and maybe swing by the rec center I joined so get stuff squared away so I can just show up tomorrow and work out. I also have to go by Michael's or AC Moore and pick up a keepsake box for the gift for my parents. I am thinking I am going to try wood burning, this should be interesting! But this all depends on my headache and if my toddler decides to be nice, right now she is a crank monster.
aggiebug, hope you feel better! waitwhat, I say soak up the sun! But my house is also an unqualified disaster right now. If I were home, I would probably be cleaning lol
D did not sleep. Like, at all. It was by far the worst night she's ever had in her life. And this was coming off of a weekend partying and staying up too late with my friends on the Cape so shit is bad, real bad.
waitwhat 50 sounds great since we're entering summer here. It's not as bad as it will be, but we're in the 80s-low 90s now with pretty high humidity. I vote for a walk and then if you have the energy, you can clean a bit.
I don't really drink coffee much either aggiebug. But people don't usually drink tea to wake up so I go with the coffee gifs. I love Gilmore Girls so it works for me! I'm sorry about the headaches. I hope this one goes away soon and they stay away. We are also going to Michael's for supplies to make presents today.
AW it's my birthday!!! I'm still comfy in the mid 30's club but not for long. Damn, I'm getting old.
And E gave me the most thoughtful gift of a god awful night. Like, I think she was looking to nurse all.night.long. Love ya little girl! (Sarcasm font obvi).
But I'm going to try to enjoy the sun and maybe get to pilates today.
Oh geez dashook, that sucks. I'm so sorry. That was us on Tuesday night. All the coffee for you. I hope it was a one off and she sleeps for you tonight.

Hi friends!
We had a fun but busy Weekend! Yesterday we went to the Cinco de Mayo carnival at the fairgrounds. It was small but fun. We tried to get DS1 to ride the little kid airplane ride but he wanted nothing to do it. He loved the rubber ducky game though.
waitwhat I get it. When we lived in CO, I was so ready for summer and warm weather. I mean, it snowed like 2" on Mother's Day the year we lived there. It sucked. I hope your weather gets its act together so you can have a fun summer. Incidentally, I'm dreaming of the beach too! That is a little strip of man made beach. The rest of the area looks like this:
My mommy friends are going to a park that I'm not comfortable going to alone with Lillian today. So we're on our own. I'm going to use the time to make a present for my mom and get the house under control (maybe). This afternoon is grocery shopping so I need to make my list before I go pick up DH.
I made sweet potato puree for Lilah yesterday and froze 7 cubes of it. She eats like one at a time right now so I'm excited. I also got peaches, strawberries, and blueberries to make purees and freeze as well. I'm planning to make some today. Maybe peach first.
ClassyMrsA what are you making for your mom? I'm trying to think of Mother's Day gift ideas. I was going to make a thread actually to get some inspiration.
Something like this, except with flowers. I'll post a picture when it's done.
So H's penis reattached again. This time it was only a little part so it didn't bother him when she fixed it, but WTF? I've been pulling it back everyday like she said to do. Obviously, not enough though. Augh.
He's only 9% for weight but she's okay with that since he hasn't dropped off the curve. Yay!
Ugh so annoying, I also would throw Vaseline on to try to prevent the reattaching. Poor guy.
And yay for staying on his curve! I told daycare to offer n bottles all day everyday since she has a weigh in Friday, ha.

That sucks that you're still dealing with that tgrimes1980. Glad it wasn't too bad though. We just scheduled C's surgery and I'm freaking out a little.
Does lack of sleep tank your supply? Because I'm getting, like, nothing today. Big WTF.
Possibly?
I get very little sleep as is, so it's hard to say. I get more sleep on the weekends and while I don't pump on the weekends, I've noticed that I have more let downs than I do during the week. But I'm not sure if that's because I'm nursing on demand instead of pumping on a schedule or what.

sort of? I can always feel my let down and it happens fairly quick but I noticed when I'm exhausted it takes a bit for my let down to occur and sometimes I find myself questioning if it even happened.
Maybe you need to drink a couple beers to boost that supply up!
ETA or maybe POAS? 😜 That was my first indicator when I was pregnant with J.
lolno...not possible unless you believe in immaculate conception.
I had oatmeal for breakfast but maybe I'll force myself to have some beer tonight too for good measure
Okay TMI but I may have found the culprit--potential return of AF. I'd say I'll keep you guys posted but I don't think you really need me to do that lol
Mother's day craft complete. There were some tears and paint everywhere, but I think my mom is going to love it. It was 3 steps and getting hand and footprints from both girls. Lillian enjoyed it. Lilah...not so much. Lol.
My mom and I just took L to the movies to see Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2! I could see the worried faces when we walked in and we were reminded to remove him from the theater if he gets upset! 🤦🏽♀️ He slept thru most of the movie and I fed him twice! Otherwise, the movie was good!
I joined a baby wearing group! Hopefully I'll learn to use my woven wrap and buy a linen one for the summer! Here's hoping!
