DH gave me an early Mothers Day gift to get my peek-a-boo blonde coloring. I really love it! (Posted this on FB page, but some of you aren't in there). Thanks for the suggestion, ladies!!
My grandpa passed during the night surrounded by my grandma and all of his children. I'm thankful he's no longer hurting or confused.
Also woke up to a message that DC is closed because she's sick. Just when I second guess changing daycare, this happens and reminds me I'm doing the right thing.

I'm laying in bed. I barely slept all night and I have 728272628 things to do today. G is downstairs with MH. He goes back to work tomorrow after being off all week. I am going to miss his help.
The sun is finally out again but it's so chilly. Not even 50 today. I'd love to get M some park time but we might have to settle for open gym. So friends are going there too so that would be a plus.
I feel so much more normal now. I kid you not-- until those stitches came it my entire abdomen was swollen. A few hours after they came out it was back to normal size. No one believes me when I say my body hates surgery but it's the absolute truth.

I can't stand it. I still wore a dress to work, though. It's May so I'm living like it is! 😁
G is still rear facing. MH wanted to flip her as soon as she turned two but he seems to have forgotten and I am not going to remind him.
I am so indecisive about this. My H also wants to turn E @ 2 but I go back and forth about it.
I think she would love to be ff but I can't justify it just yet. She fits just fine in the car seat and is generally super well behaved in the car so we have reason to turn her. Her seat goes rf until 40lbs.
L is a peanut, so I can rearface her for a long time. It works just fine in my car, but it's super difficult to get her in and out of her car seat in H's car. That and then there's no room in the passengers seat. Just wondering if others have turned yet.
How are people orienting their car seats? Rearfacinf, forward facing?
we're still RF for the moment. I wanted to RF for a long time, but N is just so whiny and so awful in the car that I might flip her sooner rather than later. We'll see tho... she's only been 2 for about 6 seconds
No spotting so far. 😊 I am sooooo nauseous too which I am taking as a good sign. I am being cautiously optimistic. I'm still scared but taking it hour by hour.

I have a pretty small car too. We taught G to climb out of her seat by herself to make it easier on us. She can't unclip her buckles and has never even tried so I am not worried about her escaping while I am driving.
My mom and sister and nephew left Saturday, DH is still in Romania till Friday. We are getting back to our normal schedule this week. I can not get to sleep the past 2 nights and am tired today. We have a busy month coming up, just thinking about it exhausts me.
I'm pretty sold on the RFing research. We'll be RFing until she maxs out the limits on her seat, probably 3.5 or 4.
Can you learn me please so I have some ammo to use with my H?
I am one of "those" crazy car seat people. Here are a few memes. I actually re-shared a photo on fb yesterday, showing dd RF 3 mo before her fourth birthday comfortably. I share a lot of car seat safety things on fb, I don't think we are connected. It's really more about age rather than the child's size. I like the car seat nerd page, cat seats for the littles, and carseat safety, are a few that provide a wealth of information.
2010 Nissan Sentra. She used to fit fine but we're at the point where we need to make the head rest higher on her seat without it bumping mine and it doesn't fit ☹️ And naturally my car manual says not to put a car seat in the middle of the backseat.
If you joined the CSFTL FB group and posted this, I guarantee someone would be able to find you a seat that could keep her RF in your car! (You know, if that's what you want to do.) It could potentially mean buying a new seat but they might have some tricks on your seat too. I've learned a ton from that group.

That's a bummer, what seat is it? Is it possible to sit it more upright vs reclined?
