I had a great weekend. Girls weekend away was so fun. My friend was so surprised. Her husband spoiled her and us. He paid for the hotel for 2 nights and all of our food. We went shopping and just hung out. I'm rather tired today though. We didn't stay up late and we slept in. I think just the activity and being gone tired me out.
I'm taking supper tonight to a friend that had surgery last week. We will go out for supper tonight then.
Also....the landscape company showed up this morning to grade our yard. We moved to a new house last fall. I'm so giddy that we are so close to getting grass. Yay!!
I'm having the worst day ever. I literally just got called a liar in front of the judge by an attorney and I came back and double checked and I didn't lie. Dude being a case worker sucks balls

Bile acids came in at a 9. My body feels like I'm going to rip through it with the itching. Oh my god. I never thought I would pray for one more point for diagnosis and treatment.

DS felt the baby kick. He was so funny. The baby was kicking until I put DS hand on my belly. Then he stopped. DS offered to go get some sugar for me because he wanted to feel the baby. He eventually felt him kick and it was so cute.
You guys it costs $670 dollars a month for my medication to save this babys life. Because of my company's partnership with boys town I only actually have to pay $15. But hot damn that's a lot of money.

@wicky, sounds like y'all had lots of fun with the inlaws. Also, I don't tell people my name choices so I can avoid their unwanted opinions. Or I just nod and smile and ignore.
mambo, sorry you had a rough day in court. Also, the itching sound horrible. Is there anything they can do to help relieve it?
Back to names.....I quit telling my mom the names we pick out for our kids because she always has something bad to say about it. She actually told me she refused to call DD by her given name before she was born (once she was born she tried to call her something else but it didn't stick). I told her a short list of names we were thinking about for DS2. I snuck the name we had chosen in there and of course, that was the only name she had something negative to say about. I'm not even giving her a list this time.

Sorry for court and the discomfort mambo I really hope they can get you some relief. And...Nothing pisses me off more than being accused of lying, I feel you.

We are also not telling anyone the names...I love them and I'm sure some people won't, but I don't want to hear it!
I had a great but exhausting weekend. My mom was here and we got some work done on the nursery and house but now things are even more torn apart than before. I can barely move today...but the furniture should be here in 4-6 weeks so hopefully we can clear things out and be ready when that gets here!

mambo, even if we wanted to know, baby didn't cooperate so we have to wait two weeks.. not good for a planner. Plus I'm anti gender stereotyping in general. If DS wants to play with a doll or wear pink, so be it. Okay, rant over.
littleb92 my son is like super into dolls and has lots of pink shirts and shoes mainly because paw patrol and he loves Skye but she's only on the girls stuff and he needs it. This morning when I woke up my kiddos were playing football, yesterday they were playing house. I never know what I'm getting every day.

mambo and littleb92 I have some friends who have been trying to give us some hand me downs that were neutral and everyone with girls has remarked how they made a conscious effort to stay away from pink and overly "girlie" things and still were shocked looking at the stuff now how much they've accumulated that is so way over the top girlie.

Carter's is the worst for neutral clothing but most stores are not very far behind. Newborn/3 month it is easier but as soon as they know you know what the baby is, it goes straight to trucks and animals for boys and glitter and flowers for girls. I also am not a huge fan of clothes with words on them, like Daddy's princess or Mommy's all star. That might be true but clothes don't need to say it! I ended up with a few from garage sales because they were cheap and little ones get changed often for various messy reasons, otherwise they would not be in my house.
This. I am getting rid of any baby stuff with stupid words on it. With my first I tried to put her in any outfit that someone bought for her. Now I have lots of cute photos of her in ridiculous clothing. If this baby is a boy, I'm not putting him in any top that says "little man" or "mommys little stud" or "ladies man." Ugh.
I was so hoping to get a pedi this weekend but it never happened. Then my friend and I were going to go this week, but none of the nights work. So probably next week. I guess I'll just paint them myself for the in between here.
caybeh I painted mine last night in bed with it adjusted so the feet were up to give me more leverage. It was still extremely difficult so I don't know how many more times I can do it alone. My issue is I am incredibly ticklish on my feet so actual pedicures are not a possibility for me. If I try REALLY hard to focus on it not tickling I can almost tolerate it! I will just enlist DH to paint them for me 😊
Oh, DH has offered to paint them for me, but I like the excuse for a pedicure. I think with both kids, DH did cut my toenails for me though.

If you don't want a pedicure, the nail salon can usually do a polish change for a cheaper price. My DD has ticklish feet too but she prefers the pedi over just polish.

Work has been so busy and stressful for me, so I haven't been around here much. I'm trying not to stress for baby.
I have noticed my appetite has decreased. I didn't even eat dinner last night and just sort of grazed/snacked. Baby was still moving this morning so I hope there's not a problem.

I guess this is an UO but I don't mind gender specific clothing. Especially for girls. The frillier the better. DD is currently in a stage where she wants nothing but lacy dresses and I love it.
