This might be too late to discuss but I'm hoping to pull something out to do on Saturday for the grandmas. Anyone do a fun craft to give as a gift with their LO? We've done a pot with butterflies made from feet prints. If you are doing something or are ahead of the game and did one will you share? Looking for ideas
Do you have any of those painting places around you where you pick a pottery item and then paint it? Then they put it in the kiln and set it. That was fun with V, and it could be cute with the little ones. I would just call and see their turn around time for kilning. Some places take a week.
Otherwise I have a lot of canvas prints that I want to do. I've got a lot pinned. But you could just let her paint whatever she wants. Or use hand or foot prints and make an animal. I've seen cute bird ones, snowman ones for winter, etc. Search pinterest, seriously there are tons of them.
Around Xmas time last year we made my Mom a salt ornament. You use cookie cutters, so you could do non Xmas items if you wanted to. Again the salt recipe is online or pinterest.
Last year we got a stepping stone kit from hobby lobby that the kids put handprints and little colored stones into. This would be a good age for that, DS1 was a little bit young last year.
