Haven't even managed to get to bed yet 😒 I worked until 12:15a. Little A has been famished today, so I just got done feeding both of us and it is already 1:45a. Hoping beyond hours that he sleeps five hours.
missi I hope A gives you a solid 5 hours. That is a long day!
mosdub wahoo! 4 hours is great! (But still not enough- haha)
I went to bed at 9:30 pm, and just woke up at 4 pm to pump, so I feel pretty good. (H took the 1 am feeding). J should need to eat again once I'm done pumping, so I'll handle that, and then head back to bed for an hour or two. I am still getting crazy night sweats almost 3 months out. This is insane!!!
Shots went fine, went to pick up my son and on the way home we got in a car accident. Both little are fine. I'm fine(very sore and cut up). I keep checking on the kids because, even though we went to the hospital and got told they were fine I'm worried that they are both sleeping. Plus I'm hurting and can't stay asleep.
So now, I probably won't have a car for the foreseeable future. At least I have spare carseat for the kids.
Just popping in to say hi! I'm thinking of you all. I've been meaning to come back around more but there is some nonsense going on IRL right now and I just haven't wanted to come in here just to bitch and moan. LSS: my dad is an epic piece of shit and is threatening to sue me. I'm not worried bc he is delusional. It just hurts and confirms my relationship with him is done. Hopefully it will all be over with for good by July.
In baby news, L is doing great. She is about 2.5m now. She has been STTN for a few weeks, with a few rough nights sprinkled in for funsies. She is just getting over a case of baby acne and has now moved on to cradle cap. Neither ever seemed to bother her so it's NBD. Guess she just has sensitive skin.

Oh no!! I'm glad everyone checked out at the hospital.
I woke up this morning to find that a fully engorged tick fell off of someone (I'm hoping the dog) and I stepped on it at some point MOTN. I tracked blood throughout our entire second floor, including an expensive area rug. Pretty sure this shit doesn't happen to normal people.
Got up at 5 to feed T. Had 20 minutes before the alarm went off. Decided to go back to sleep. Missed my alarm but still managed to make it in on time! This getting up and moving right away isn't fun
{Click here to see more.}dead spider found in my coffee while I was drinking it??
Also this morning I cleaned up cat barf (he has long hair, this happens often enough) that, upon inspection, contained a partially digested mouse. Good job kitty!

B had a 6 1/2 hour stretch of sleep last night. I'm going to attribute it to him being extra sleepy from his 2 month shots. I'd like to think it's going to be his new thing and part of it is his new bedtime (now 7:30pm) but I know better.
@justinslovo This may sound sappy but I'm going to tell you anyway.
You and the other poster (can't remember her name, the if you do) that helped me find a carseat tall enough for DS may have saved his life. At the least, you guys helped me keep him in a five point harness and the pediatrician at the hospital said that was the reason he didn't have more serious injuries.
So I'm thankful for our ladies at TCF. Otherwise I wouldn't have know what to look for when he outgrew most seats so young.
I have a zit right on the top of my lip, where my lip meets my skin. It hurts. I'm annoyed.
I always get up with big intentions to do something productive. Then I fall back into the routine of feeding the baby, trying to nap, watching tv, etc. Please tell me I'm not alone.
@priss08 Not sappy at all. I am crying for you. I can't imagine how scary that all must have been. I am so glad I was able to help.
ETA just want to make sure you know, don't use that seat. It's safety has been compromised even if it looks fine. Insurance, theirs or yours, will reimburse you the cost to replace it.
All the gentle hugs to you.
Thank you and I remember that from somewhere. Plus I was pleasantly surprised that the hospital pedi knew those rules.
DS just told me that he's not sore but his shoulder hurts a little from the stap rubbing his skin. Well be using the pain relief spray in it. DD in nice and happy.
For those of you with older kids, when did you stop listening to your music in the car and start listening to kid bop? I was jamming out to "Crash into me" by DMB this morning and then had the realization that my almost 2 year old likes to repeat things now....

I barely did anything with my first. Not alone at all.
Honestly just soak up this time. Don't do anything if you don't need/ want to.

I don't plan to honestly. I always listened to the radio growing up. Our stations mostly play radio edits anyway.
