yl does she have any... issues? I feel bad about how much I laughed at this because I realized that I don't know her story. But WHOA.
This. It might be because I'm reading "No Drama Discipline" but all I can think of is how effing terrible it would be to be 16 and so emotionally disregulated. Good grief. I'm sorry that's what you have to deal with yl. Blows my mind.

I officially succeeded at doing next to nothing today. I figure this is my way of making sure people aren't too sad when I leave in reality I'm being lazy and don't want to start anything new because I won't be able to finish it.
So I had blood work done for my neurologist today and she ran a full panel. Well... my glucose level was slightly elevated. I had just eaten breakfast about a half hour before that. Would that cause it? I was assuming so but it makes me nervous that I might develop issues during this pregnancy (it was only 112, when normal ends at 110 on their scale).

Yes to it being because you ate. I wouldn't worry about being diagnosed with GD because of a non fasting glucose.

Hunter had apparently started screaming shortly before I picked him up today. He cried so hard he threw up a few times since getting him. The babysitter is amazing for not telling me to come get him, he's such a beast, I don't know how she can handle him like that.
lol @traceyos, one of my favorite childhood toys was a stride rite shoebox with a slit in the top, into which i would insert poker chips. they make very satisfying sounds when you play with them.
I'm stress eating my 2nd giant cookie of the day. I have my trainer tonight and he's going to yell at me and I don't even care because we're living in some kind of terrible movie.

Dude. I have no words.
Anyone have a spare tin foil hat? Asking for a friend.
yl I witnessed a kid break down like a toddler over his phone today too! He's 13 and had his dang phone during state testing. We read a huge paragraph and require all kids to sign a paper acknowledging this paragraph. I laughed. Then a kid ran into a door, so I laughed harder.

I feel like the world is going crazy! This is so bananas.

Bill managed to break a link on my watch, so I took it in and they said they can either replace the link for $150 or replace the band for $2,000. Not a typo. $2,000. LOL.
*I'm still annoyed I have to pay $150, but I cannot imagine a scenario in which I would ever pay two grand for a watch band.

My child went to sleep without a fight in less than 5 minutes. Compared to last nights 2 hours and an hour the night before it is a huge win! We even managed to pack 5 boxes of kitchen stuff before H got paged out to work. Woooo OT pay! Now I'm just staring at all the junk we need to pack and thinking it would be easier to just leave it here and buy literally everything new. If only we had unlimited funds and could pull that off.

DAMN GIRL. I need your motivation. Once our inspection goes through this week I can kind of stop caring what it looks like and get to packing.... in theory.
We have so much junk it needs to be packed. Once it's packed I can hide it in the vehicles so people won't see if they come look at the house. It's the only way my house looks semi presentable.

At the drugstore picking up the rx for pink eye I notice a red spot on ds2. Sent a pic to my pedi- beginnings of ringworm- ugh.
At least it's treatable with the same anti fungal we are using for ds1's athlete foot. I swear my kids bathe regularly. Is this just being a boy mom???

Today I was informed that DS got his head stuck inside an obstacle course at school. He has some marks on his neck because he struggled to free himself. Poor DS has the biggest head. We had to buy him a new helmet for his bike this year and he got an adult large....he will turn 6 in July.
lovemyirishtwins poor guy!! I'm glad he's okay! I feel like this will be Henry. His head has been off the growth charts since birth.
Third day back in the office full time is on the books. Everything is going so much smoother this time it's unreal. The only issue is that L is so tired after daycare that he sleeps the whole evening so I don't get much interaction. I guess I should just roll with it since he previously spent this time of day screaming.
My 10 yo has a bigger head than me or MH. Add in her massive hair and she has an adult XXL helmet that still only fits with her hair down... We always claim it's our big brains. 😬

I have a giant head and so does E. Her head circumference has been off of the percentile charts since she was born. We bought her a helmet for a 4 year old (she wouldn't try it on at the store) and have to take it back because it's too small.
