I was talking to my husband last night about dinner I left for him and lunch options for today. He was like "well, I have to visit a job site in x, so I'll be gone all day." That's where we drove to and stayed last night. Funny little coincidence since he rarely visits job sites and usually they're downtown.
LOL to being underdressed in dress pants. This is why I'm not a lawyer. I was out of the house before 6 this morning to get breakfast for my AP students before their exam. This is my current situation, and I don't feel underdressed
I can show you underdressed in some of the outfits I used to wear to the office. We had a really lax dress code other than no jeans except Friday's (if they were colored jeans, you could wear whenever), and no short shorts, but dressy shorts were fine. Oh, and no flip - flops, but pretty much any other sandals are ok. The spectrum of what I would wear went from one extreme to the next. Dress pants are like the dressiest I would get for work.

And to add, I love a uniform. Like, people at hospitals that wear scrubs or whatever, dream come true. You don't have to think about what to wear at all.
Our dress code is very random. No jeans (not even Fridays) and no Bermuda shorts. But any other type of pant is pretty much fine, no matter how casual. Everyone starts the year looking nice since the students have to wear a uniform, and my the end of the year there's a lot of capris and flip flops and "spirit wear."
We don't have a dress code, I'm on the phone all day and rarely meet clients and when I do they are super causal too. I can't imagine having to dress up everyday.
This rain can go fuck off. Andplusalso, can cold and congestion please leave my baby alone. She is so congested and coughing. And I hate that daycare can't suck her snot out. So she'll probably be snotty and coughing all day
I'm doing ok. Another day down. Ordered a big breakfast at the office so that made me happy lol. Still super congested and feeling like crap. Wondering when these babies wanna come.
Next appointment is tomorrow. I hate the cervix checks but I really wanna know what's going on. I feel so much pressure low now. But not really having any contractions recently.

Well keep us posted. We need to start placing bets on when these babies are going to get here already 😀
Yoga pants/ leggings all day erryday here. Some nannies have dress codes - khakis and polos or scrubs. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be a typical thing in Cincinnati.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! No plans really. Came to Red Robbins to get my free birthday burger and will be stopping by Nothing Bundt Cakes for my bundlet.
My dress code is pretty casual since we're not working at a client site. Can wear jeans and a nice top daily if I want, but generally just so once or twice a week.
At this point in pregnancy though? Wearing leggings, jeans, maternity tshirts and barely any make up. Lol.

I don't think anyone observes our dress code exactly (dress code requires women to wear pantyhose. No one follows that). We are business casual but people wear business for meetings or if they're going to see clients. Most of the men wear suits or a sport coat. Women's business casual is way too hard. I usually just end up wearing a suit or some type of outfit with a jacket. When I was pregnant, I basically wore a maternity pencil skirt or maternity dress under an unbuttoned suit coat and black flats every day.

Lol at wearing mu to work. I rarely did that. And when I did I would do my mu at work.

Does anyone else think it's annoying to have cocktail parties during dinner time? My work is doing a women's happy hour, which is awesome. I love it. But it's from 5-7! When am I going to eat dinner?! Heavy apps are not going to be enough for me.
