I've decided my quality of life will drastically increase when I'm done pumping. Honestly I miss breastfeeding my baby so much and she just will not do it. I try every single day, and she will only suckle a little once she has taken a bottle.
It breaks my heart, so I've tried committing to exclusively pumping. It's making me miserable, my supply blows, and I feel guilty for wanting to stop. I'm trying to take it day by day.
My maternity leave got messed up. I was paid an extra 7 days at the beginning (I wasn't paying attention to be honest) so now I either have to take 7 days of vacation, or I have to work unpaid for 7 days to make up for it. I'm not amused.

Day two of DD out of school sick. She seems better so I'm hoping she can go tomorrow. The baby seems to have caught her cold (of course!) and has a stuffy nose.
I've naturally been doing EASY with this baby as he always seems to want to play and be active after eating. It's funny because with DD I read the book and kept trying to do it and it never worked because she would fall asleep after feeds.

flyinghorses6 - Quality of YOUR life is key, too. It's easy to tell you not to feel any sort of way about stopping, but seriously... it's not worth your stress and mental health. You already do A TON for your kids, for your husband, and for your household. Do what you have to do. {{hugs}}
linewifekat - If baby needs to see you to be calm, can you maneuver some car mirrors? Like one of those that hangs on the back seat and then one in the front so baby can see you while you're driving? I wish I had some magical idea, but mirror manipulation is about as magical as I get LOL
