Hi-I'm in a wedding next weekend and my dress seems to fit fine. However, I'm wondering if it should be hemmed. Bride doesn't care. It's an outdoor wedding so wondering how high from ground people hem. I think at this point with shoes on, it's maybe 1/2" from ground. Enough that I shouldn't step on it but...anyone participate in an outdoor weddings and can advise?

I've been in an outdoor wedding and I had my dress hemmed so it just grazed the tops of my feet. I wasn't sure if I'd be wearing short heals or flats, so I went with a length that would suit both shoe options. Does that help?
