Starting this thread because something happened today that I just had to share. The 4 of us were walking home from their 9-month pediatrician appointment when we happened to run into our RE on the street. She not only remembered us but seem genuinely happy to see us - she even interrupted her phone call to say hi and she took a picture of us to show her nurse. I got really choked up trying to thank her, because what do you say to the person who literally made your dreams come true? Seeing her reminded me what a dark place I went through to get here. I am so grateful every day for my beautiful family.

Randoms... I mixed prosecco with sparkling blackberry lemonade tonight and it was freaking delish!
I let Rowan on our balcony for the first time (a cat tree sits in front of the door so it's awko). She loved it! But it really needs to be cleaned. There's a pile of dead leaves that she was fascinated with and she had dust all over her legs and butt from scooting. 😂
Me: 32, PCOS Him: 30, 4.5% morph, TTC: 10/11/12 After 5 failed Clomid cycles and 3 failed Femara cycles with HCG triggers, IVF #1 w/ICSI April 2015 resulted in a BFP! Our little Newt was born January 2016!
Today was mother's day in Mexico and a driend brought me flowers. I also explained to some other friends why I don't celebrate Mother's day (particularly how much IF had to do with that). It actually turned into a really great conversation.
MellyKnu my friend mixed Chardonnay with sprite and pink lemonade over true weekend... gone! I'll have to try it with the blackberry lemonade when the sun comes back next week.
Random: If you don't like spiders, don't read the UO thread on Parenting. I got a page in and I'm ready to vomit!

bocaburger, that is so sweet! I haven't brought DD around our RE's office because I pretty much kept our relationship more business than personal. And our RE has a weirdly private personality. BUT I do want to show her off because I'm so grateful.
mrswillie, thank you for the warning, I'll steer clear! I'll admit that photos of spiders, in my opinion, should be treated the same way as graphic content

mrswillie, I genuinely think spiders should have TWs. Or along the lines of what Winnifred has in mind. (No, I don't literally expect the internet to TW spiders for me, but..... they are actually that bad to encounter without preparing for it.)

Awww that's so sweet. Random but I wonder which of your babies is from IVF and which was the surprise from ovulation around ER. Guess you will never know!
I have an apt with my RE in 2.5 weeks to do a FET consult. I requested last apt of the day to have the most minimal chance of other patients being there because I'm bringing my daughter with me to meet her. I remember how much of a trigger it was to see other kids in the waiting room. We'll see how productive my convo is with the RE with my active daughter in my lap and my husband not there haha

I went to get the mail yesterday and came back inside and was walking into the bathroom when I caught a glimpse in the mirror of what looked like black fuzz on my white shirt. Nope. A small bee. Cue freak out. Thankfully I killed it with DHs hair gel container before it stung me.
