I couldn't fall asleep last night so I'm dragging a bit this morning. 3 hours of sleep is going to catch up to me soon. Feeling very stressed and just hoping I can make it one more month through this event I am coordinating. I really want to quit but I know It's too close to the event. I meet with the group tomorrow and would love nothing more than to part ways. :/ There's just a lot going on and I have to focus on the good things happening at my real job. *sigh*

@justinslovo confirmation bias. You look at clocks probably all day err' day, but those numbers stick for you because birthday. You noticed them a few times in a row and now they hold greater significance in your memory than all the other times you look at a clock all day. You might also see, say, 9:23 a lot, but those numbers don't mean anything to you so they never slip from short-term to long-term memory.

So H had to spend 4 hours in the ER yesterday because of an allergic reaction at work (not sure to what). If my family members could stop going to the hospital that would be great, thanks.
ETA: He's fine today - a little puffy and feels very tired and run down so he's staying home, but other than that he says he's fine.
Yesterday morning I thought it was Monday, yesterday evening I thought it was Thursday. Today I want it to be Friday. But alas, no, just Thursday. At least we have donuts in the office!

I was going to launch into some psychic energy thing, but this makes way more sense

I definitely didn't download 6 episodes of Gossip Girl onto my phone for the trip.
I was also able to find Anna and the French Kiss on overdrive through my library, so it's on my Kindle along with the book that yl recommended and the Mindy Kaling book.
This morning was R's Mother's Day breakfast at his DC. They had flowers for all the moms and he kept trying to steal mine. But it was fun to be able to drop him off, since MH usually does that. His teachers love him so much. They were so happy when he showed up.

I'm in a super rare "I want to deep clean the kitchen" mood and of course, Bill chooses this day, of all days to be the clingiest kid this side of the Mississippi. Go play with your trash can, kid! Mamma wants to clean some grout.
L's first parent-and-me swim lesson is today and I'm missing it because I committed to a work event a month ago, before we got the call that she was off the lesson waitlist. I'm so bummed. I wanted to be there for her first lesson. It's at my old club too. I know I'll be there next week, I just hate that I can't be there for everything.

@traceyos my mother suffered from vertigo and it was an inner ear thing. She had a cyst in her inner ear that needs removed. I agree with @vvvvfee about getting it checked.
W napped for 1 hour in his crib. I eventually went to get him when he wouldn't settle in. He snuggled right up to me and slept on me for over an hour. Very unproductive naptime and I couldn't care less.

O now has pink eye and fever 🤒- so it's super fun over here. Had my psych apt today and we are upping meds for the first time since August- I'm having some sort of feeling about this- relief that we don't have to talk about weaning in August and frustrated that I can't get it together. Hmm

I ordered my girls trolls shirts for their birthdays from Etsy. They came in today and are so incredibly cute! Viv would not stop smiling and squealing. I cannot wait for their party.
Well, my kid's snuggly nap makes sense now. Fever and vomiting kicked in about an hour ago. Boo. Please be a short bug, we're supposed to go out of town this weekend.
Our daycare is relocating to a new building on campus. They MIGHT start there on Monday (date has been pushed back several times) but we haven't gotten official word. BUT what annoys me more is we got a "school roster" email last night with nothing but an Excel document that shows R is switching teachers. No date but his teacher today said likely whenever they move to the new building.
So not only will he be dealing with a new building (which we have been talking over with him for weeks) but also NO familiar teacher.
I know he's young and will adapt but WTF. Is this normal?
