DS1 had kindergarten orientation. He's already at the school in pre-k. Staff took the kids who don't go there down to a kindergarten class. Conversation after school... Me: what did you do at school today? DS1: I was the calendar and weather person. Me: did you go to centers? DS1: I went to centers in that girl's room? Me: what girl's room? DS1: You know... that girl. Me: Did you go to the kindergarten room? DS1: Well, I don't know. Went like this for 5 more minutes.... then he told me, "Her name was Miss Marshmallow."
DS2 bolts out of bed every night and runs down the hall laughing. He then continues to run around the table with us chasing after him while telling him to get back in bed. I think he's laughing at the fact that he makes us look stupid.
Baby giggles every time we change his diaper... like full on belly laugh. Why is it so funny that you're getting your diaper changed? Makes us laugh too though.

So I teach 1st grade and we're working on a Mother's Day project right now. One of my students was working and came over to me very excitedly "Mrs. Supermorena, I know my mom's favorite color! Queen blue!" "Do you mean royal blue?" "Oh yeah. Haha!" So cute!
As for my own LO. The other day I swear he told his first joke (he's 13mos). I was rocking him and reading a story and he held out his binky to me (super into sharing/showing lately) and I said thank you, then he took it back. This went on a few times. Then he put it in my mouth and starting cracking up like it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen!

She had a bat in the cave so I picked her booger out of her nose. She started crying and saying no no no, mine mine mine. So I offered the booger back.... She took it and put it back in her nose.

M loves to purposefully put the shapes in her shape sorter over the wrong holes and shake her head then put it over the right hole, look me in the eye and then shake her head and move it again. She thinks it's the best joke ever.

WF is currently obsessed with this Spanish pop song/music video from 2001 (El Baile de Gorila, for those of you who are Melody connoisseurs) and she will sometimes start waving her hands in vaguely flamenco-esque motions and expect me to start singing, "Rumberaaaa! Rumberaaa! Vamos a bailar!" Anyway, apparently in music class on Monday, the teacher said, "Let's dance," and WF broke out into flamenco. Wish I had been there
