I think making a Facebook profile for your newborn and then tagging them in pictures is too much.
There is a scrapbook feature on FB that I use, or at least when I remember to tag my kids. That way when I want to print or download pictures I can just go to their scrapbook area and see all stuff for them. It's not an actual profile though.
Buying huge expensive gifts for SO Birthday/anniversary or whatever makes no sense to me. Is that expected each year? A friend of ours just surprised his wife and posted a video of him giving her a brand new Denali SUV for Mother's Day because she is the best mom around.
I was about to defend our buying of themed gifts and then I kept reading. Our gifts aren't extravagant by those standards.
I mean if you can afford it, cool. Maybe my early confession is that really I'm just jealous because no way can we afford that. And I'd be livid if H made a purchase like that without consulting me first but I guess if we were rich, it wouldn't be so bothersome.. idk.

My spa GC is looking pretty shabby...
Around Xmas they have those car commercials where people get new cars as Xmas presents and I always jokingly ask DH if that's my present. Seriously, who does that? If we were rich and that would actually be a possibility, I'd want to pick out my brand new car, not have someone pick it out for me.
H2's are the dumbest cars around. No one needs to be driving a dressed up armorer vehicle unless you are the president/PM, royalty, or the pope.
I don't see H2s around much anymore. Used to see them a lot 5+ years ago. Agree they are unnecessary. I also don't get why everyone thinks they need 4 wheel drive or AWD when they live and commute in a city. Or have a huge ass pick up truck for that matter. My BIL drives an F250 with extended cab and he's a nurse anesthetist and drives 30 minutes each way to work on the interstate and lives in a suburban neighborhood. He pays people to mow his lawn and he pays people to help them move. Why are you paying for a truck bed? I literally don't understand why they think this makes them cool.

I haven't seen any for years either but 2 of my neighbors have them and I saw another driving yesterday.
Agreed on the giant trucks. I don't get the truck love unless you need it for work or hunt a lot
I think the add-on thing for Amazon is dumb. Especially since those objects tend to come in a package all on their own. Let me just pay for my $8 door knob and not by another $20 worth of crap.
You can pry my truck from my cold dead fingers. I love my truck.
What do you use your truck for? I have no problem with a truck thats being used. I have a problem with a truck that is driven because you want a truck and nothing ever goes in the bed and it never touches a dirt road.
Just for clarification, the asshole drivers I'm referring to are the ones with the giant, tricked out pick ups that are so spotless there is no way they've ever done anything useful.

When I had my internships, I used it to carry equipment to field sites. Now I mostly use it to haul baby gear I need places and take stuff to drop off for donations. Also helping friends move.
If I ever go back to work in my field, I'll use it for field work again.

This has been a gripe of mine for years. SUVs and now pick-up trucks are very popular in my corner of suburbia. Since there's so much off-roading here... Some say it's for the extra cargo space but I have a lot of friends with SUVs that actually complain about the cargo space. And the back seat doesn't give you anymore room for car seats. We rented an SUV awhile back when DS was still RF and we had to push up the passenger seat even farther up than we do in my Camry. Some will say for the snow, but we don't get that much snow and it's usually plowed. And my Camry does just fine.
I don't understand why people care so much what other people drive.
I care when they don't know how to park them and end up taking up two parking spots or act like they are invincible in the bad weather and then cause an accident. When there is bad weather in my area, most of the accidents you see are caused by SUVs. I once saw an SUV try to drive over/through a plowed snow bank and then get stuck. I know not everyone who drives SUVs drives them recklessly but it's pretty common in my area.

I only care about people that drive electric cars and run cords from their house over the sidewalk to charge them because I effing trip over them all the time. All the time.
I will not apologize for my small-ish suv. It's necessary for our life right now.

But we can agree that this is not dependent on the car they drive. I had to recently crawl in through my passenger side because a car parked so close and crooked next to me. I'll look, I think I still have the picture.

Yeah. Just an inconsiderate asshole. It's not the cars fault and that neighbor would probably find a way to be inconsiderate no matter what car they had
