I was just going to post something similar! We're doing a birthday party for a work friend on Saturday. I'm off today so I'm the errand whore while the wife is working, and the child is at daycare. But I'm hoping to squeeze in a massage this afternoon after I mow our pasture (it really is just a yard but we've had gobs of rain).

Hi everyone! I'm 38 weeks today. Just counting down and overanalyzing every little new sensation lol. Praying I've had some cervix change by my appointment on Monday. Have some plans with friends tomorrow (lunch and dinner) then mother's day lunch with my mom and MIL on Sunday and my last prenatal visit with my doula after. We're doing pretty well with our final to do list. Just need to install the car seat but I'm not stressing about it. Have a great weekend everyone!!

I feel like we have too many plans and then none at the same time. Still figuring it all out!
A friend from college and her daughter are visiting and I think they are going to go to my class in the morning then we are figuring out the afternoon. We have so many ideas, just have to decide. We may go see the horses, go for a hike, and then eat at this restaurant that's part of a resort but it overlooks the Pacific Ocean and if there's no marine layer, has beautiful views. Or we will head in the opposite direction and go to a flower shop/champagne bar. CET likes champagne so I think it would be something special. Or we could hair go to the aquarium. Or we'll think of something else. Have to see what our friend is thinking.
On Sunday I think our day will involve a run, a nice breakfast, walk around the Nature Center, and maybe happy hour or dinner out.
rosesquared, Assuming you're not in labor or have a newborn, are you going to reunion? I'm still deciding....I'm the worst decision maker.
calsurb, A massage and kid free errands?? Sounds wonderful! I love M but running multiple errands with her isn't my favorite.

cetcar ugh I really want to go but it's also graduation weekend so there is no way I could. Plus I don't want to be 1.5 hours from my hospital should anything happen. You should totally go!! I would definitely be going if it wasn't for all my reasons lol.

rosesquared, You don't want to miss your own graduation! Yeah, some friends are going and I think it would be fun....I think it's me feeling lazy and liking our days here but I think I'll be glad I went if I go.

rosesquared is going to Cuba for a long weekend so she wouldn't be home for part of it. It would be M and I. She's still nursing (while eating solids) but I've never spent more than like 3-4 hours away from her.

Last night I went to a. Ice dinner with a friend from college. Had a great steak and drank 3 $15 cocktails. Devine.
The kids and I are headed out to met friends at a street fair. L has a sinus infection and is staying home. I anticipate a slow evening once we get home.
Sunday. Hopefully L feels better, C has a soccer game if the field isn't too wet, and we are going to a steak dinner with the kids. No swim tomorrow night!! Who hop!
2brides- Sounds like a fun weekend with some treats! Enjoy! I bought mint at the grocery store last week hoping for CET to make either a mojito or a mint julep but we've haven't gotten around to it yet.

We went to Seattle to pick up our 2 year old niece for the week. Kass took leave and decided to fill it with the joys of a toddler. Went to the aquarium and walked around a little. Seattle traffic is nuts! Got back home this afternoon and went out to dinner. The little one was very happy at dinner and ate almost her whole plate of food. Tomorrow, we both have to do work (Kass - Masters stuff, Me - primary and second job estimating) and yard maintenance. Oh, and it hailed tonight on the way home. Happy May.

Our neighbours just brought us a strider!!! (Bike for Is). So excited for her to ride it next summer! How generous too. It's so random, this guy did his Masters with H about 10 years ago in a different city and now we live around the corner from them.
