E is in the 70's but everyone thinks, or at least asks, if we pronounce it like the similar top 10 name. I never expected people to think that's how you would pronounce it.
O sits in the high 100's.
They both have stayed relatively level in the past decade.
N is 36 and has been rising in popularity. I knew it was common, but it has family meaning to us, so I'm not bothered by it. My name is still in top 10, and has been for a longgg time.
J is #28 and has fallen, I have yet to meet another toddler with the same name though, everyone thinks it is almost retro.
Someone on FB just named their daughter Locksley. Am I missing something? Because I feel like I missed the boat on this one.
I seriously can't handle some of the names. Call me a judgmental bitch but come on, fucking "Journee" is not a name!
A kid in my neighborhood is named Journee. They live right by our park and every time I walk by, I can't help but feel bad for the kid. Eta: they have one of those sports signs with the kid's name on it. I'm not weirdly obsessive. Lol.
Also, a former co-worker named her daughter Kensley.
L's name didn't make the list, at least for girls, but we knew that when we named her. It's #50 if you look at the boys list.
E's name was 135 in the year he was born and was 114 last year. Not surprised considering I've met a bunch since he was born. Here I thought his name wasn't well known!

While I was looking for names for C, I read an article about popularity of names and how it's not like how it was when we were growing up. The #1 names only have 20,000 whereas in the 80s, they had 50-70,000. So names are just more spread out, probably because there are so many made up and "unique" ones out there now.
Ok, ok, I can't resist name talk.... If you were going to have another baby tomorrow, what would you name it? You can take your partners opinion into consideration or not.
I am loving Hazel (I won't tag, but if she reads this, love her name @ann16poster!) for a girl and Theodore for a boy right now.
I have a lot of boy names that I love. Declan, Trevor, Tyler, Evan, a bunch more. We probably won't use them though. H likes Dennis, Kevin, and James. Yawn.
We already know what we will name another daughter if we have one (because of naming after people). So this is 100% theoretical, but even still for some reason I have a harder time with girl names. I like names like Sage, Ava, Juliet, Julia, Joanna. Not sure MH would go for any of those.

If we had another, for a boy we like Leopold James.
For a girl I like Lacie, Liberty, and Lorelei. Middle name would be a family name. Probably Marie, Susanna (Susan), or Jacquelyn. Possibly Georgia since we have lots of men named George on both sides.
