Sorry for the rough days! And eek chknma, sorry about your coop
Everyone telling me that she'll come when she's ready, that I should be enjoying myself, etc. had a much easier pregnancy. So I want them to hush. Don't care if that isn't kind.
Attempting to get a pedicure now, but it's taking roughly forever.

I consider myself lucky to have had a pretty easy pregnancy and even then I am feeling pretty darn uncomfortable at 38 weeks and it is hard to just enjoy myself.

I'm convinced it's to make us all less nervous about delivery.

My pelvic area is so stiff and achy and I guess my body is getting ready to birth this child but it didn't get the memo that this baby is not planning on coming out that way...
nikonine, good luck! I am so thankful that DD goes to daycare 2 days a week because it gets her out of the house and around her friends and allows us time to just focus on baby boy.
I'm happy we are able to send DD foe the same reasons, but I have times of feeling bad about sending her. I love having her home with me, but I also know it's good for her to be around the kids shes there with and I do want the one to one time with DD2 like I did with DD1. I usually don't care what people think of things like this, but I felt a little judgement from H's grandma yesterday when we mentioned that she'd be going a couple times a week...ultimately though it works for our family, so I'm not going to let it bother me.

sleepymonkey hope you get checked! Def doesn't sound normal for the glue. chknma so sorry about your chickens! My friend had been having a rough time with her chickens and ducks being attacked
My pre-e is definitely back. High pressure, clearly holding fluid because I had a 6 lb weight gain from last week(I swear I don't eat enough to gain that much), and protein in my urine. Doctor decided to go ahead and start my induction today. I go in at 4, I'm hoping either my doctor is on call tonight or this baby holds off until tomorrow morning when he's back in office. I'm so nervous about it because of what happened with max, but I know my fluid is in tact and I'm getting antibiotics, so we shouldn't have any issues this time!
Our morning went off without a hitch! DD2 has been sleeping ALL DAY, so I spent a few hours cleaning when I got home, and now I'm trying to sit for a while because I think I overdid it. I see other things I want to do around here, so maybe just a little break before I do a couple more things before I go get DD1. It's storming here which I love, but hope it lets up before I leave.
Sorry about the pre-e anfranklin2 but good luck!!!
I successfully made it through the work day and home. I have an ultrasound and 41w appointment tomorrow so won't be tempting fate with that drive in again tomorrow morning haha. Maybe baby will take mercy on me and come tonight. At this rate I feel like I'll still be pregnant in June 😂

Why does my baby only seem to want to spit up as soon as I change his clothes, especially when I get him in his sleeper? Formula spit up smells so foul when it dries.
Good luck anfranklin2 Sorry about your coop @china Hope you feel better @sleepmonkey, and I hope all the waiting for labor moms go into labor soon!!
For me the main difference between all the prodromal labor and actual labor was that the prodromal labor was tighter in my uterus, and didn't always start in my back. With active labor contractions they always started in my back, don't know if that helps at all. I felt like the prodromal labor kept me on my toes because they really did hurt, and were regular. That's just my experience, probably not too helpful, but you never know
I am just hanging out smelling like cabbage. I am so f-ing engorged. Absolutely loving my sweet little guy, but man am I tired. He wanted to stay up all wide eyes from 12-2, and he has been sleepy all day. I try to keep him awake but he just sleeps right through anything! Super sleepy baby. He had his appt today, all looks well, and he is gaining all. 6lb 14oz, they want him back at birth weight by 2 weeks and on track to hit his birth weight even before that

For me it's been a mix. The ones I actually bother to time are wrapping around my back. The ones that are more low/in the front of my uterus I basically ignore (when possible haha!). I'm so exhausted tonight I have no desire to go into real labor, which probably means I will 😂

Omg that smell will haunt me for the rest of my life. And DS1 *always* spit up on me after I was freshly showered, it never failed.
